Help??

So I posted the other day asking for help. I'm an AuPair in America and I need help decorating my room. I have a few ideas from what people have said already but here are some pictures to show you more and see if you can help a bit more:)
The first room ,they call, a "library". It's got a tv, cd player, desk and printer.
So I found out that I can't mark the walls so I need help with how I could possibly put things up.
I also don't have much money so I'll be looking for cheap things or even things I could make myself.
