Disclaimer: NOT REAL. But I'm hoping that it is, secretly.
WARNING: This story... failed. I need to write some pr0n soon. I'm not feeling the fluff right now, and it's obvious in this story. I'm not too satisfied with it, but maybe some good feedback will change my mind. *nudgenudgewinkwink*. But it's so hard to make that stuff believable.
It was a cool day in Murray, Utah, when David cut the engine of his car. His hair was unkempt, his grey shirt was wrinkled, and his eyes bleary.
Touring was awesome, yeah. But sometimes he just... got tired of the girls screaming his name, throwing things at him, flashing him... it just got tiring after so much. But David Cook had somehow convinced his handlers to let him have the day off to wander through Salt Lake, where his tour would be taking place the following evening. He'd worked an extra day into his schedule for a reason, after all.
Archie lived here. And he was in town this week, David had found a way of pulling this piece of information out of him without making it too obvious. And he was going to see him, and spend the day with him, and probably end up in the backseat of David's Ford SUV, limbs tangled and mouths bruised.
Wait... no. That was just David's sex drive talking. Someday, though. Someday. For now, he was happy with the loving kiss on the lips and the way David curled against him when they sat together. Or the little text message that he'd send once in a while, a simple 'thinking of you' or 'haha, light on was just on the radio, haha' or once in a while 'when you get back, you've got to sing to me'.
David had to admit, it was a little tame for what he was used to. Archie was sweet and loving, though, and that was what mattered to David. After all, love didn't come with a contract. There was no set way to go about it, and everyone had their own ways of showing it, David mused as he finally stepped into the street at the end of a cozy cul-de-sack. Archie's way of showing his love was laughing at everything and blushing adorably and being generally cuddly. David? David liked to make Archie uncomfortable. And DAMN was he good at it. He also liked everything that went along with Archie being uncomfortable. The nervous giggle, the way every muscle in his body hardened, the way his nose crinkled up.
He ambled up the walk, relishing the cool air of Utah (winter was never David's favorite season), before pausing, his hand right above the doorbell. There had be a cute romantic way to go about this that Archie would love, he thought, biting the inside of his cheek for a moment while he thought about it.
David Cook was an impatient man. With a roll of his eyes and a muttered 'fuck it', he rang the doorbell before leaning against the doorframe, trying not to look like every nerve in his body was standing on end, waiting for Archie's reaction to his surprise visit.
After around 20 seconds (it felt like days), the front door opened and a familiar face emerged from within the house. However, it wasn't Archie's. It was his younger sister's. Who promptly grinned before letting out an earsplitting "DAVID! DOOR!" and closing the door in Cook's face.
Another moment passed, and then the door opened again. "look, I don't know how you got my addr-" Archie broke off, obviously expecting some creepy fans, and his eyes widened.
"Surprise." David said quietly, almost in a husky whisper.
David would have sworn that Archie almost fainted into his open arms, but he kept his balance, staring at his boyfriend, grin growing wider quickly. "You're on tour," Archie said disbelievingly.
"Concert's tomorrow. You coming?"
The younger man nodded before roughly grabbing the front of David's shirt and pulling him into the house, closing the door and shoving David into the coat closet, joining him after shoving a few coats aside and closing the door behind him. "Of course I'm coming," Archie replied before planting a chaste -yet loving- kiss on David's lips. It wasn't the reaction that David had been hoping for after being wrenched into the house so roughly, but it was nice nonetheless.
David grinned, kissing him again. "I'm glad," he began before kissing him deeply once again, letting his tongue run across Archie's full bottom lip and feeling him stiffen against him. This, the utter closeness, was what David craved around Archie. Not anything all that serious, just the warmth, and the feel of his body... It felt comfortable. "if you weren't there, I don't know what I'd do," he continued.
Archie hummed in reply, and David could feel the vibrations of his chest against his own. "I missed you," he replied softly. "like, a lot."
"How much?" David asked, his reply almost a growl into the warm shell of Archie's ear, who shivered.
The younger boy was silent for a long moment, and David lowered his head to rest his chin on Archie's shoulder. "Um, Cook," he said uncertainly, his voice tight.
"Yeah, Arch."
"Your hand. It's kind of... um..." Cook's eyes opened and he pulled his hand away from Archie's ass. The younger man breathed a sigh of relief. "thanks," Archie's voice had already relaxed. "And I missed you enough to pull you into a coat closet in my house to kiss you."
That was pretty risky for Archie, David mused. And it wasn't his fault that his hands were slightly more horny than his head. David pressed a kiss to Archie's neck. "True. How's my boy?" he asked quietly.
"I turned 19 last week." Archie replied lightly, as if this were no big deal.
David froze for a second before voicing his thoughts. "Fuck, I missed it? Why'd you let me do that?" he said, his voice tight with self- loathing. Who forgot their own boyfriend's birthday? That was just... stupid. "I would have skipped out on some tour dates."
"That's why I didn't tell you. I was going to let you know at the show," Archie replied, opening the door to the closet. "Come on, let's go to my room," he said, beckoning for David to follow him deeper into the house.
It was as they were passing the kitchen when David heard another voice. "David, did you get the door?" the voice was one of the most distinct he knew, and Cook grinned. "your sister called-" she stopped as she emerged from the kitchen wiping her hands against her pants. She smiled. "You didn't tell me you had friends coming over, I would have told you to clean your room."
"Mom--"
David smiled, well prepared to pull out every stop in the charm to make sure this woman wouldn't throw him out -- ever. "I'm sure David's no messier than myself, Mrs. Archuleta." He said, holding out a hand, "it's good to see you again. I feel bad that I missed Archie's birthday."
"Everyone missed you at the party, have no doubt. Will you be going us for lunch? Any friends of David's are friends here." She assured him with a friendly smile.
After replying that he'd love to stay for dinner, David followed Archie to his bedroom, a smirk on his lips. "Here it is." Archie sighed.
David barely looked around, he was already closing the door and pressing his young boyfriend into the wood. He kissed the younger man deeply, his tongue swiping against the seam of Archie's lips before he began to trail kisses down his neck. "What would your mother say if she saw how you act with your 'friends'," he whispered huskily into Archie's neck. "doubt she'd want me to stay for lunch. 'Specially if she knew about all the sounds you made."
"Gosh." Archie's voice was breathless.
"Someday you'll be saying something entirely different." David almost growled into his ear before returning to his more gentle kisses. Even if he was only sighing, only saying things like 'gosh', Cook would never get tired of it. But at the same time, the idea of hearing Archie moan out a loud fuuuck made his cock twitch in anticipation.
Archie let out a sigh, no loud moan, his eyelids fluttering shut. "Don't talk while you're doing that," he whispered.
"Is that an order?"
A long pause. "Maybe."
David smiled into his neck again. "I'd listen if you ordered me around, Arch. It's a habit." He said before nipping at the flawless skin of his lover's neck. Archie jumped a little bit.
"David Cook, don't stop kissing me."
"Yes sir."
Someday, though. Someday. David could wait.
