friday
pat stopped by and i went with him to the gas station, and we worked things out. he took me home and i pretty much did nothing until 2:00, when i got a shower. at 4:30 pat picked me up and we went to a few stores before going to his house. we stopped at the stand on broad and oregon to buy some new year's hats. pat bought this horn, which may have been the most annoying horn i've ever heard. it was so small, too! so pat called it 'the little obnoxious new year's horn'. at 8:00 we picked up ryan and attempted to go to best buy, but it was closed. we then went to my house so i could get changed and then off we went to dave's. when we got there, jacqui, christina, and lauren carmichael were there. jay and louie came later, then lenny and nick stopped by. when dana and lauren desantis came everyone started drinking. i began with a smirnoff ice, which i didn't finish until 10:30 hahah. nicolai came sometime in between then, jackie came a while later, amanda stopped by, stef came, etc. by 11:30 some people were drunk, but then there was me who was still working on my second smirnoff ice. i never finished it hahah. at midnight everyone went crazy, and it was fun times. zuino and kris came after midnight to stop by. i went home at 1:30. it was alot of fun!
yesterday pat woke me up at 11:00 and 15 minutes later we went to the parade. we watched a few string bands before going to pick up his cousin, then we went back to broad and wolf and met up with his mom and stepdad and watched the remaining string bands. i loved avalon, and was really convinced that they would win, but i'd have to see the results. after the string bands pat and i went to my aunt's house and stayed there for an hour. i went home to get changed and then went to pat's house for dinner. his family was there and i watched the fancy brigades. i liked the vikings and the shooting stars the best. at 8:00 we decided to go bowling, but didn't leave until 9:45. it was me, pat, louie, and zuino in one car, then nicolai, christina, kris, and jay in the other. when we got to brunswick, we began our game car vs. car. we agreed that the 2 highest bowlers would be captains of the next game. so somehow i managed to be captain #2 with a 126, pat was captain #1 hahah. so i picked jay, christina, and louie to be on my team. the 2nd game i bowled a 153, but pat kicked my ass with a 204, but i was proud of him! the 3rd game i only managed an 88, but then i came back with a 111 in the 4th. at 12:30 we were finished. jay also took home his bowling ball, named jim, which pat stole. it was a custom ball that jay used wednesday night, and he liked it so he wanted it. so now jim belongs to jay. i guess you had to be there to know what i'm talking about, but it's pretty funny. i was home at 12:45.
today
i woke up at 9:30, showered, and got ready for mass. today is the feast day of our parish, the epiphany. in a little bit i'm going to franca's to work on my math homework, and then at 6:30 i'm going to pat's.
tomorrow it is back to school, unfortunately. i'm dreading it for some reason. i wish it were summer again =[
i also decided that i want a 20gb ipod, it will come in handy on the plane ride to the bahamas. it's going to be my birthday present.
