wednesday night
i ended up going to pat's house because i needed him to draw my pictures for biology. i stayed over there from 5:30-10:30 and helped him out with his physics homework. i went to bed sometime around 12:00.

thursday
i went to work and then came home and worked on my summer assignments some more. i finished them up and then pat came over from 5:30-6:00. i went to cheerleading practice and was home by 9:30. i was in bed by 11:30. andy roddick lost :'(

friday
first full day of school! we went to all of our classes and got our locker keys, planners, and calendars. accounting just may be the best class that i'll have all year. i already have 2 essays to write for father zlock [i hate him already]. after school was the nhs meeting and we were given our packet of info. i have a bunch of forms to fill out and an essay to write by next friday. i walked home with adrienne and then at 4:40 i walked with the percy girls, ashley, and adrienne to epiphany. we had a pizza party and a 'meeting' for the youth corp thing. it was pointless. i went over my aunt's house after that and took a shower over my grandmom's. my uncle bar-be-qued and pat and greg came over to eat. we went to pat's house somewhere around 8:30 and then at 9:45 kris picked us up with zuino and we went to the movies to see 'wicker park'. it is an amazing movie! everyone go see it! after the movie kris dropped us off at pat's house and then pat took me home.

today is september 11th.. exactly 3 years since the 9/11 occurrances. 2 nights ago i was watching something on cbs and it was like alot of footage from photographers who were on the streets at the time the planes hit. i can honestly say i started crying when i watched it. they showed the people jumping out of windows and i was just in shock. once they showed the towers fall i couldn't watch anymore of it. i've learned to discover that as you get older the 9/11 occurrances have such an impact on you because you learn to understand it more. watching that video footage hit me really hard.

i have a game in the morning. i'm not sure who neumann-goretti plays but i don't feel like going. they're doing a tribute to alvin dill at halftime so that will probably be sad. they'll probably do a little something for 9/11 too.

i'm off to bed.. night!

Think about the love inside the strength of heart
Think about the heroes saving life in the dark
Climbing higher through the fire, time was running out
Never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive
But you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed

Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Be strong. Believe.
Be strong. Believe.

Think about the chance I never had to say
Thank you for giving up your life that day
Never fearing, only hearing voices calling out
Let it all go, the life that you know, just to bring it down alive
And you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed

Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Be strong. Believe.

(Again today, we take into our hearts and minds those who perished on this site one year ago, and also those who came to toil in the rubble to bring order out of chaos, to help us make sense of our despair)

Wanna hold my wife when I get home
Wanna tell the kids they'll never know how much I love to see them smile
Wanna make a change or two right now
Wanna live a life like you somehow
Wanna make your sacrifice worthwhile

Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Be strong. Believe.

Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Be strong. Believe.

Think about the love inside the strength of heart
Think about the heroes saving life in the dark
Think about the chance I never had to say
Thank you for giving up your life that day

(The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here)
