So about two weeks ago I was having AMAZING back to back hair days.  I mean...unheard of good hair days.  Usually the cosmos align and a sacrifice is made but once or twice a year and then and only then would I get a good hair day.

However, two weeks ago...bliss.   I had figured out the right treatments for it.  The right way to blow dry it.  The right cut and length for it. And then suddenly...heartbreak.

My hair was once again frizzy.  It was fuzzy.  It was one step away from a national disaster.

And I couldn't figure out what had happened.  I was still using the same products.  Still styling the same way.  WHAT WENT WRONG?!?!

Upon a severe and through inventory of my system I noted the issue.

One of my Pantene ProV Restorative bottles was Shampoo.  And the other Pantene ProV Restorative was Shampoo.

I felt that perhaps one of them should be conditioner.

Two weeks without conditioner will make even the best of hair look atrocious and when you don't have the best of hair to start with...

...I'm about to blow out my hair for the first time back on conditioner...I can't wait.

PS.  I"m a HUGE idiot.

PPS.  I've always rode in jeans.  Never had a problem.  Other woman would say "how can you ride in jeans...doesn't the middle seam hurt your *ahem* special place?"  You mean the whoohaa area of goodness?  Nope.  Never.  Until last Saturday.  There were abrasions.  I bought jodhpurs on Sunday.

This needs to be added to the You Know Your a Horseback Rider If:
1) You've fallen off at least 7 times.  Check!
2) You know what a sheath is and have no problem cleaning one.  Check!
3) You count strides between light posts while driving using the beat of a song as a stride.  Check!
4) You have broken your whoohaa area of goodness.  Check!
5) You've clicked at your significant other to make him move over.  Check!

PPPS.  My mother is going to be mortified I wrote this here.

PPPPS.  Hi Mom!!
