I made a decision today
today Josh and I practiced for that band we went and tried out for last night ... and the music the guy wants to play just isnt what we're looking to play. He's into old school music like Metallica and black label society ... thats all good and fine, but the dude wants me to learn 4 songs in a matter of 4 days. I'm sorry, but I got more important shit to do then learn songs all dang day ... I mean, I still have to find a job ... just playing at bars isnt going to pay the rent now is it? So we just decided that we want to start our own band just doing cover songs of the Ramones and stuff like that. Its stuff that we actually like to listen to and can relate to. We learned two songs today where we could only play the first 20 seconds of the other song lol.
