Here's a story for ya:
My alarm goes up at 4:30 this morning to go fishing. I get up, get dressed, go down, and go online to wait for Carl and Allen to get on. 5 minutes later Allen comes on. Now, the plan was to meet online at 4:45 and for Carl to come pick me up at 5. Now, it's 5:15 and Carl still hasn't come online. So we wait till 5:30 then go back to bed. I later find out Carl forgot to set his alarm.
Do you know how hard it is to wake up at 4:30 in the morning? Do you? Do you? If you don't let me tell you; it's fucking hard! Oh, I was so pissed at him. I got over it relatively fast, though.
We were planning on going tommorow morning, but now we find out it's supposed to rain, which sucks.
But anyways.
One more day of summer. One day. Ouch. But as I've already learned many times this past year, all good things must end. Or, as Matchbook Romance would say, "You'd think I'd learn over these years, good things won't last forever." I swear to god, that song reads my mind. Download it. "My Eyes Burn" by Matchbook Romance.
In other music reccomendations? Straylight Run. It's the ex-guitarist and ex-bassist from Taking Back Sunday's new band. They're very good. Go to straylightrun.com, you can stream a bunch of their songs. One more music reccomendation. There's an acoustic version of "You're So Last Summer" by Taking Back Sunday available on Kazaa or Limewire. It's really amazing. Download it. It's an audio file. Search for "You're So Last Summer (Acoustic)." It's abour 5,057 KB. It's really an incredible acoustic version of an already great song.
Full day band practice again tommorow. We're hoping to finish teaching Tom all of our songs, which would be great; because then we can start training a bassist and writing songs and playing shows.
But that's about it.
I'll see you fuckers in school.
Peace.
