Useful Notes on Persona Skills:

As a "wild card," Minako has the ability to keep up to twelve Personas and choose at will which one is her dominant Persona at any given time. Her dominant Persona influences her physical abilities; some Personas make her stronger, make her magic stronger, give her greater endurance, or make her more agile.

Minako also takes on the resistances and weaknesses of her dominant Persona, which break down into the following categories:

• Weak: She's more vulnerable to injury from these kinds of attacks.
• Resist: She's less vulnerable to injury from these attacks but can still be harmed by them.
• Null: She's immune to injury from these attacks.
• Absorb: These attacks restore her health instead of harming her.

A Persona's physical attacks drain Minako's health; magic attacks drain her spirit. In both cases this results in Minako getting tired from using these abilities, but the spirit drain from magic just means she eventually can't use any more magic until it's restored (by rest or other methods) whereas the drain on her health can cause her to pass out if she overuses her Persona's physical abilities.

Damage/Effect Types:
Physical: Slash, Strike, Pierce.
Magical: fire (Agi), ice (Bufu), wind (Garu), electricity (Zio), light (Hama), dark (Mudo), non-elemental (Megido), healing (Dia), revival from KO (Recarm), buffs (-kaja), debuffs (-nda), status dispel (-di).
Prefixes and Suffixes: Ma- or Me- indicates a multi-target effect. -la, -lao, -nga, and -rama indicate mid-level spells. -dyne, -rahan, and -on indicate high-level spells.

Orpheus of the Fool Arcana [image]
A poet of Greek mythology skilled with the lyre. He tried to retrieve his wife, Eurydice, from Hades, but she vanished when he looked back before reaching the surface.
Weak: Elec/Dark.

Hua Po of the Magician Arcana [image]
A tree spirit of Chinese folkore who dwells in trees used for hangings. She is smaller than a human, and cannot speak, but her voice is said to be as clear as a bird's song.
Weak: Ice, Null: Fire

• Agilao: Fire, single-target.
• Dia: Heal, single-target.
• Re Patra: Assist downed ally, single-target.
• Enradi: Dispel Rage, single-target.
• Rakunda: Defense debuff, single-target.

• Fire Boost: Passive, strengthens fire attacks.

Sarasvati of the Priestess Arcana [image]
In Hindu myth, she is the goddess of rivers and patron of speech, writing, learning, and the arts and sciences. Brahma is her husband.
Weak: Elec, Null: Ice

• Mabufu: Ice, multi-target.
• Bufula: Ice, single-target.
• Posumudi: Nullify poison, single-target.
• Me Patra: Dispel Panic/Fear/Distress, party.
• Dekaja: Nullifies buffs, multi-target.
• Ice Boost: Passive, strengthens ice attacks.

Laksmi of the Empress Arcana [image]
In Hindu mythology, the goddess of beauty and good fortune. Vishnu's wife and Kama's mother, she is the goddess of love. Believed to have been born from an ocean of milk.
Weak: Fire, Resist: Light, Null: Ice/Dark

• Mabufula: Ice, multi-target.
• Bufudyne: Ice, single-target.
• Diarahan: Heal, single-target.
• Amrita: Nullifies negative status, party.
• Masukukaja: Hit/evasion buff, party.
• Ice Break: Temporarily nullifies ice resistance/immunity/absorption, single-target.
• Null Dark: Passive, nullifies Dark attacks.

Oberon of the Emperor Arcana [image]
Fairy king and husband to Titania. Was cursed as a child, and has not grown any larger since.
Weak: Ice, Resist: Light/Dark, Null: Elec

• Zan-Ei: Slash, single-target, new moon bonus.
• Zio: Lightning, single-target.
• Mazio: Lightning, multi-target.
• Zionga: Lightning, single-target.
• Dia: Heal, single-target.
• Media: Heal, party.
• Tarunda: Temporary attack strength debuff, single-target.
• Survive Dark: Passive, chance to cling to consciousness after a Dark attack that would otherwise KO or kill her.

Kohryu of the Hierophant Arcana [image]
Known as the gold or yellow dragon, it reigns over the Ssu-Ling, celestial creatures in Chinese myth. It is located in the center of the four beasts.
Null: Light.

• Weary Thrust: Strike, single-target, fatigue bonus.
• Maragilao: Fire, multi-target.
• Mazionga: Lightning, multi-target.
• Mediarahan: Full heal, party.
• Samarecarm: Revive with full health, single-target.
• Makarakarn: Repels next magical attack, party.
• Divine Grace: Passive, strengthens healing magic.
• Invigorate 3: Passive, gradual SP recovery even while not resting.

Valkyrie of the Strength Arcana [image]
"Choosers of the slain" in Norse mythology. Armed with shining armor and spears, they look for brave warriors to take to Valhalla, so that they may fight in Ragnarok.
Weak: Fire, Resist: Slash

• Cleave: Slash, single-target.
• Power Slash: Slash, single-target.
• Mabufu: Ice, multi-target.
• Tarukaja: Attack buff, single-target.
• Rakukaja: Defense buff, single-target.
• Auto-Sukukaja: Passive, automatic personal hit/evasion buff.
• Dodge Slash: Passive, chance to dodge Slash attacks.

Attis of the Hanged Man Arcana [image]
A god of Phrygian descent. He was Cybele's son and consort, but castrated himself and died. Cybele resurrected him as a pine. He came to represent rebirth.

• Megidola: Non-elemental magic, multi-target.
• Media: Heal, party.
• Samarecarm: Revive with full health, single-target.
• Rebellion: Increase crit rate, party.
• Dekaja: Nullify stat buffs, multi-target.
• Null Distress: Passive, nullifies Distress effects.

Pale Rider of the Death Arcana [image]
One of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. He rides on a pale horse, and is the ruler of Hades. Has the power to destroy life.
Weak: Light, Resist: Wind/Dark

• Zan-Ei: Slash, single-target, new moon bonus.
• Mudo: Dark, single-target, chance to KO.
• Mamudo: Dark, multi-target, chance to KO.
• Garula: Wind, single-target.
• Counter: Passive, chance to counter melee attacks.
• Survive Light: Passive, chance to cling to consciousness after a Light attack that would otherwise KO or kill her.

Setanta of the Star Arcana [image]
A brave young man in Celtic myth. After defeating a vicious dog with his bare hands, he took up its role as guardian, and gave himself a name meaning "Hound of Culann."

• Zionga: Lightning, single-target.
• Power Charge: Doubles power of next physical attack.
• Auto-Sukukaja: Passive, automatic hit/evasion buff.

Sandalphon of the Moon Arcana [image]
Metatron's twin brother in Judeo-Christian lore. He is the master of heavenly songs. It's said that a human would take 500 years to walk the length of his body.
Resist: Strike, Repel: Light.

• Diarama: Heal, single-target.
• Salvation: Full heal, nullifies all negative status, party.

Vishnu of the Sun Arcana [image]
One of the major gods in Hindu myth, he is the preserver of the universe. It is believed that he will descend to earth ten times to maintain the balance of power.
Weak: Dark, Null: Ice/Elec, Repel: Light
