Synopsis:Kai’s eyes snapped open and almost pushed Reita right of him.
“What?” Reita asked.
“Did you hear that?” Kai said, looking everywhere for the source of the sound.

“Moshi moshi?” Kai answers, ending the constant ringing of his phone.
“Kai-chan, I’m bored.” Reita’s voice is on the other side of the receiver.
“Aren’t you always?” Kai replies. He sits down on the edge of his new couch, playing with the cord, secretly agreeing to Reita’s statement.
“Let’s go to the beach!” Reita suggests, ignoring Kai’s comment. Reita rolls onto his back, closing his eyes, while the hand that wasn’t holding the phone runs down the smooth fur rug beneath him.
“Hmm,” Kai looks up at the clock on his wall. It read 12:35. “It’s going to be really hot there.”
“Nah, it will only when you’re there.” Reita said, smirking. His mind flashed an image of Kai, under him, sweat adorning his tone body, his face contorted with pleasure.
“You are such a sweet talker.” Kai said, rolling his eyes.
“You love me for it~” Reita opened his eyes and rubed his face on the fur, wishing it was Kai instead.
“You got me there, Rei.” Kai shook his head at his minor confession. He was in love with Reita, every bit of him loved the blond. He grabed a pillow and wraping his arms around it, imagining it was his lover.
“So, are we going to the beach?” Reita continued, “We could do tons of stuff, like building a sand castle, looking for shells…you know, stuff.” praying that he would say ‘yes’.
Kai giggled, Reita was never the one who was very good and convincing someone. “Fine, on one condition, you have to drive me there~” That would give him more time to stare at Rei.
Reita couldn’t help but laugh. “Of course babe, I wouldn’t want you to get lost.”
“Oh shut up!” Kai wanted to deny what Reita, said but knew it was only the truth.
“But you love my voice, don’t you?.” Reita said, “Oh and just bring your towel,” Pause, “nothing else.” He added.
“Nothing else? I thought we were going to make a sand castle.” Kai furrowed his brow; he looked forward to that.
“Uruha has my car, so we’d have to go by bike.” Reita said, pushing himself up into a sitting position.
“Okay…see you in 15 minutes?” Kai said.
“Yeah, can’t wait to see you. Love you.” Reita gave a little kiss to his phone.
Kai blinked and heard the small affection from his lover and felt his heart swelling up. “Love you too.” He whispered then gives Reita his kiss.
“Bye~” and with that, Reita hung up the phone. He placedthe phone down and climbed onto his bed, placing the Snoopy pillow to his face, and planting himself into its softness. Kai’s scent begins to surround him; the smell of Pantene shampoo and a hint of Kai in it. Reita sighed, taking one last sniff and took off towards the bathroom to make sure he was presentable in front of Kai.
Kai heard the phone hang up and quickly rushed to his bedroom. He slide the mirror closet doors open and threw whatever top he thought would look good, something that would match his swim trunks.
When Kai was satisfied with the way he looked, he made his way down to the lobby. He didn’t need to wait long though.
The sound of the motorcycle engine ripped through the air, the sweet sound was like music in Kai’s ears, a sound that marks the end of his wait. The motorcycle parked right in front of him, the sleek black and red Toyota, with the leather seating and one of the smoothest rides of all. Reita took of his racer helmet- he said it sets the mood when he is driving- revealing his face. Kai’s heart skipped a beat.
“Hey babe~” Reita said while getting off his bike. “You didn’t wait long?” He gave Kai a small peck on Kai’s lips but what he really wanted was to make out with him right now and then.
“Nope.” Kai whispered, wanting Reita to be close to him again. “Let’s go.” He snuck another peck on Reita.
“If you keep doing that I won’t feel like going to the beach anymore…” Reita smirked then quirked his left eyebrow; a habit Kai adored and he knew it.
“If you keep taunting me like that, I wouldn’t feel like going either.” Kai returned the smirk and attempted to raise his eyebrow.
Reita pulled Kai closer by the waist, their faces just an inch apart. “Are you tempting me now?” His tongue went out to lick Kai’s smiling lips.
“Rei~” Kai whispered out.
“Ahem!” came from no where. Reita and Kai whipped their head to the source of the sound, only finding out it was once again the lobby officer.
“Oh sorry!” Kai got out of their embrace and bowed down deeply. He was trying to hide his blush but it was the third time this officer caught them ‘in act’.
“Let me remind you guys, this is a public place. If you want to do those acts, please do it in your property and not in the open. There are people who are against your act, so please behave yourselves.” And with that, the short stubby guy walked back in through the doors, shaking his bald head.
Kai and Reita eyed each other, and Reita was the first one to crack a smile. “Loser.” He called out.
“Don’t be so rude.” Kai said, though he couldn’t help but grin at Reita’s comment.
“Hmpt, telling me I can’t touch my boyfriend in public, screw him!”
Kai smiled and grabbed onto Reita’s hand. “Let’s go.” He walked him towards the bike and helped Reita put his helmet on. “Handsome.” Kai commented with another one of those precious smiles that are only for Reita and him alone.
“Here’s your helmet, beautiful.” Reita did a little ‘magician’s’ bow, causing Kai to let out a tiny giggle.
“Oh! I almost forgot my towel!” Kai ran back to the ledge and grabbed his beach bag. “You said just a towel~” Kai held his bag up like a little kid showing his parents his 100% test score.
Reita chuckled, tipping his head down, not wanting Kai to get mad at the thought in his head. “Come on, lets go.”

“Oh my gosh. There are so many people here.” Kai exclaimed. “What should we do?” Kai looked over his shoulder at Reita with a small pout on his face.
“Hmm, why don’t we just go closer to that side, where the forest is.” He pointed down to the far right.
“Okay~”

The walk there took around 30 minutes, due to the numerous distractions getting there. They laid their beach towels right by the forest edge, keeping their belonging cool.
“It’s so empty here~” Kai exclaimed. “I’m so glad we took the time to walk here.” Kai kicked off his shoes for a first-hand feeling of the hot sand.
Reita’s heart just melted. Kai’s hair shone in the sun, his eyes twinkled with excitement and his smile…it was perfect. Reita was lost in a daze until he finally heard Kai call his name.
“REITA!” Kai was leaning forward, his hands were cupping his mouth. “What’s wrong?” After he saw Reita’s reaction.
“Oh, nothing, sorry.” Reita then got an idea. He kicked his shoe off as well as his t-shirt and ran towards Kai, catching him in surprise. Kai turned to run away but started too late because Reita’s strong arms wrapped around him and lifted him onto his shoulders. Kai’s head was hanging down, face down by Reita’s waist.
“Ahhh!!! Rei!!! Put me doowwnnn!” Kai yelled, moving his arms and legs frantically. When he got no reply, or any reaction for that matter, he tried moving his body so that he could see where Reita was carrying him to. He started seeing blue replacing the sandy colour of the beach, before he could even start his protest again, he was thrown in the water.
“Ahhhhhh!” Splash! Kai emerged from under the water and went to get Reita right away. “You bastard!!!” He lunged at the blond but the other dodge skillfully and tried to get at the brunette.
There screams of laughter seemed to not have bothered anyone since it was pretty much empty but little did they know, that they were not alone…that they were being watched.

“Ugh, so tired.” Reita exclaimed. He was lying down on his beach towel which was moved under the sun with nothing on but his shorts.
Kai giggled. “My voice hurts too, but it was worth it~” He was lying on his beach towel, soaking up the sun.
“Yeah. Come here.” Reita turned his head to the side and opened his arms up for Kai.
Kai smiled. He crawled and climbed onto Reita’s drying body. He place his hands on either side of Reita’s head and placed a kiss on his lips. Reita wrapped his arms once again around his waist. He pushed Kai down, flipping their position.
Reita started exploring his ‘territory’. He caressed Kai’s side, knowing that that turned him on. Kai’s arms where around, feeling his back.
“Oh! We don’t have sunscreen on!” Kai said all of a sudden, earning an outward groan from Reita. Kai always, unconsciously, ruin the good moments.
“We should go under the shade.” Kai said and started moving out of Reita’s hold.
“You’re not going anywhere.” Reita trapped Kai back down and gave and fiery kiss. Kai panted but wasn’t going to give in yet.
“You’re going to get sunburned.” Kai pouted. Reita’s featured softened, into an exression that said ‘awh’.
“You’re so cute.” Reita tickled Kai’s nose to prove his point.
“Then listen to me.” Kai formed an irresistible pout. Reita couldn’t say no.

“Rei~” Kai moaned when Reita started touching his clothed erection. He spread his legs wider and threw his head back to the towel.
They’re under some trees and on a small sand dune, giving them some privacy and shade.
Kai’s panting got louder and louder, Reita tried to burn the sound in his head. He leaned down and sucked on Kai’s neck while rubbing harder.
“Reeeiiii~~~” Kai gasped out. “Pleeeassee…” His eyes were half closed.
Come here…come here…
Kai’s eyes snapped open and almost pushed Reita right of him.
“What?” Reita asked.
“Did you hear that?” Kai said, looking everywhere for the source of the sound.
“No…what are you talking about?” Reita frowned. “There wasn’t any sound but you.” He raised his eyebrow again.
“Really?” Kai asked, he really wanted to be reassured.
“Yes.” Reita said and leaned down to capture those frowning lips. And they continued off of where they left off.
You heard me…come here…
Kai stopped again. “Reii!” He grabbed Reita’s face to his. “I heard it again.” He hated ghost, he hated it…ever since the prank that his classmates pulled on him in third grade.
“It’s nothing.” Reita reassured. He hugged Kai close to him. “It’s probably just the trees.”
“You sure?” Kai asked.
Reita was about to answer but his cell phone rang, interrupting it.
“I thought u said just a towel.” Kai forgot all about his worries at that time.
“In case something happens, its important. I’ll be right back because it doesn’t seem to get enough connection here. Mkay?”
Kai nodded. It wasn’t too bad.
Come here…trees…come here…
Kai whipped his head behind him. His heart started to speed up. What is it, he thought. He was scared, but his curiosity was greater. He took one last look at Reita- whom was in an intense conversation with someone at the time being- and walked into the forest.
The bright lights disappeared fast, being covered by the tall looming trees. He shivered, he only had his shorts on, he forgot his shoes.
Here, that’s where I am…hehe
Kai stopped at his tracks. Shivers ran up and down his back. That voice, it was so haunting, so soft, yet so demanding. Kai walked in further down in the depths of the forest.
The roots of the trees tripped him, causing him to fall, getting dirt and small cuts along his body. His feet were starting to hurt from walking on the damp but rocky soil. The voices never stopped though, they led him deeper and deeper into the forest. Soon, there were barely any light left, the temperature drop considerably as well.
More…you’re getting warmer…closer…closer…
The voice rang in his head, it was so familiar…but who, or what is it?
He wanted to get out of there, he was sick of it already, he was on the brick of breaking. He wanted Reita. He turned back, but everywhere was the same, the same looking trees…the same rocky paths. Kai couldn’t find a way out…he was lost.
“REIII!!!!!” Kai called out “RREEEEIIITAAA!” He kept calling and calling but there was no sound. The voices have stopped. He was completely alone.
Kai collapsed, bringing his legs to his chest. He started to cry. He hated this, his memories of before came back…it came back to him.

“Kai, go on the boat, it’ll be fun!” Take exclaimed in a hoarse whisper. “Come on!”
They crept closer to the boat that was tied on to the shore. They used the flashlight to find the path. The camp leaders forbid them to leave their tents after 9, but for small kids like them, no one listened.
They finally made it to the boat, with the paddles inside it.
“Let’s go.”
“Do I have to?” The third grade Kai asked, he was scared of getting caught.
“It’ll be fun! You’ll like it.” Take said with a smirk.
“We’ll get back fast?” Kai asked for reassurance.
“Yes. Now lets go.”
Kai climbed onto the boat while Take untied the rope.
“Take, come on.” Kai said. But he didn’t get a reply, instead, he saw Take push the boat out and took the peddles out of the boat. “TAKE!” Kai cried. “What are you doing??” His eyes were wide and sweat started to slide down his forehead.
“It serves you right!” That was all he said. He pushed the boat out further and Kai started drifting on the water.
Kai was scared, he couldn’t swim, he didn’t want to get in trouble, there was no one there. He sat there thinking of a way, but a voice interrupted him.
You’re closer now…
Kai’s heart pounded, he was scared shitless. He gripped the seat tighter until his knuckles were white.
Come on, don’t be afraid.
Oh but he was, who was there? Who was out there? The voices didn’t stop, they haunted him all night, until the breaking of dawn. He was out cold.

The tears kept going down his face. He was so terrified but it never ended, the voices started again…
Boy, why don’t you come closer? Why are you so scared? I won’t hurt you…hehe…not at all. Just come here…
Kai’s whole body started to tremble. He moved his hands over his ears, trying to block the crystal clear voice. He wanted this to stop…to stop.
He fainted.

“KAI!!!” a voice screamed.
Kai opened his eyes and saw Reita’s face in front of him. Tears were pouring from his face.
“Oh god!” Reita hugged Kai in a death grip. “I was so scared…so scared.”
Kai wrapped his arms tightly around Reita too. He started to cry.
“Um…” a voice broke their embrace.
“Uruha? Ruki?” Kai looked at them confused. “Why are you here?”
“It was these fuckers.” Reita said, anger in his eyes.
“We didn’t mean to. It was just a joke.” Ruki said, looking down at his toes.
“Yea…we were just playing around.” Uruha added.
“Well look how well that’s go you.” Reita snapped. “You fuckers!” Reita made a move to punch them but Kai stopped him.
“Don’t go…please.” Kai hugged him again. They stayed like that for a long time, they ignored all the sound made by Uruha and Ruki, but they didn’t let them leave either.

“So you guys were the ones who made that voice?” Kai asked when they got back to his house, he was wrapped in a warm blanket, sitting in between Reita.
Uruha and Ruki looked at each other. “Voices? What voices.”
Kai’s heart sank.
“We were only trying to tape you guys having sex, we were by the forest.” Ruki started.
“And when you stopped twice, we thought we were caught but the worst part was when you walked into the place where we were. You walked right past us though.” Uruha said.
“Then, when you were gone, I panicked and looked around for you until I spotted those fuckers there.” Reita pointed at htem.
“Hey! Don’t call us fuckers!” Ruki retorted. “We didn’t mean to! Jeez.”
“Then,” Reita continued, ignoring Ruki, “I asked them where you where and they said in the forest so I went out to look for you. Thank goodness I found you, you were so far in there Kai.”
There was no reply.
“Kai?” Reita shook him a bit.
“Huh?” Kai woke up from his daze.
“What’s wrong?”
“There was a voice.” Kai said in a death’s whisper. “A voice kept calling me, it told me to come closer…like in third grade.” He turned to face Reita. “It kept calling…and calling. I couldn’t tell where it was from.” Tears were pouring out of his eyes.
The other three were stunned. They didn’t know what to say, Kai wouldn’t lie to them about anything like this.
“Oh god.” Kai cried out. He hugged Reita so hard, trying to get the icky feeling away. “oh god…oh god…”
Reita hugged closely as well. “It’s okay baby, I’m here. I’m here…” Reita bought Kai’s face out of his chest and licked the tears away. “I’m here, don’t be scared anymore. I’m here.”
Kai nodded. “Don’t ever leave me.”
“I promise.” Kai hugged him again. They stayed like that for the whole night.

Kai woke up and stormed out of his room, where was Reita?
He ran downstairs to find Reita setting the table of food.
“Good morning babe.” Kai ran up and get another embrace to the blond.
“Kai.” Kai looked up at him. “Move in with me.” He said with a smile.
Kai’s heart skipped a beat and all his worries were vanquished.
