Austria 3 - 1 Latvia
Wow. We actually managed to win something. After being one goal behind, I was already worried we'd lose again (which would be the usual, the boys giving us hope after one game and crushing it after the next), but then we managed to come back =D the first goal was even scored by Christopher Dibon (Captain of Erste Liga (!!) club Admira) on his debut with the senior NT. So happy for him!! =) The other two goals came from Martin Harnik (plays in Germany for VfB Stuttgart).
It was just a friendly (not a really friendly one, though, 3 Latvian players got sent off during the last 10 minutes), but whatever. WE WON. I hope we keep this up (no Arnautovic, trying short fast passes, fighting and running as if our life depended on it). However, we still have to work on scoring. Sometimes our lack of confidence in front of the goal is almost embarrassing.
Looking forward to the Turkey game in September.
In other news, a whole shitload of deadlines is coming closer and closer. To be exact, too close to ignore them.
To do-List:
-Study Spanish.
-Starting writing the Literature paper. (Oh God, how I hate overly motivated professors...)
-Find out what to write for the Linguistics paper. And find out the closing date. (To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to write them... -.-")
-Find out which grade I got on the OLV2 exam (which is, like, the most unnecessary thing ever. And the exam was a bad joke at best)
-Buy an Arsenal jersey (I'm wondering if I'll still get a rebate...)
-Buy Italian and French for Dummies. Would be a pity to completely forget those languages. Oh, and Arabian for Dummies too. Will be interesting next year...
That's it, I think. For now.
And slowly, slowly I'm getting over what happened on Friday. Mesut Özil shirtless is rather helpful, and the 'little'
shopping spree with my father and my sis was very helpful too (Me has 3 new pairs of shoes and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BRAND NEW RAY BAN SUNGLASSES!!! I love my Dad.)
And now I'm off to make a picspam!! =D
