How to Play The Sims
This guide will work on any Sims game!
Create a Sim. We're assuming you know how to do this. Place it in the middle of a feild without a home, and watch it wonder where the hell its house is.
Make its house, full of paintings, furniture, plants, and other things that you think it will adore. Let it explore, and realize that you apparently have a crappy taste.
After exploring, your Sim is hungry. Tell it to have a snack.
After finding out that a snack cost $30 dollars, and it barely even fills your Sim up at all, get pissed off. After all, you did just spend your Sim's entire money on making a cool house that it doesn't like.
Sims become depressed easily, and think negative thoughts. If this happens, you most likely need to invite someone over!
Call up a pal or two for a party. After several "I'd rather watch my plant grow!"'s, you finally find someone willing to chill.
This is a special occasion! You're inviting the guy that you want to adopt kids with. Change into a dress by spinning around.
Look through the peephole and see that your friend is here. After eating pizza, watching TV, dancing, taking a shower, and several other things, your Sim finally answers the door.
After your Sims refuse to come back inside for some reason, allow them to socialize outside. They sure know how to start an interesting conversation!
That is basically how you play the Sims. By this time, you begin to hate your Sim. You choose to make a new one! At that point, repeat this whole process.
