Weekend Update
Wednesday after class I drove to Roanoke so we could leave early Thursday morning for the Weezer concert. I finally got to Roanoke around 4ish maybe? I forget. Eric had just gotten back from the beach and he bought me a cute pink shirt and a pretty purple hemp necklace from there! Anyway, Eric took me to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which was awesome. The movie was soo funny and Johnny Depp was amazing. Definately worth seeing again. Then we went back to his house and waited for his friend Joey to get there. When Joey got there we all went to eat at Denny's. Then to make a long story short I got mad and didn't talk alot for the rest of the night. Then we went back to Eric's house and him & Joey watched South Park while I read Harry Potter. Finally we all went to bed awaiting Weezer.
On Thursday we left Eric's house around 7 or so and finally got to Tennessee around 2ish. Our hotel room wasn't clean yet, so we had an hour to waste until we could check in. So we decided to find the coliseum where Weezer was going to be playing later that night. We finally found it and drove around while Joey screamed at other fans, rode by Weezer's buses like 3 times, and then we went back to the hotel. Our room was finally ready and we got our stuff in there, got dressed for the concert, then left for downtown Nashville. We looked around for places to eat before we stood in line forever, so eventually we found a Subway and ate there. At around 5ish we decided to start standing in line to get inside. *The doors wouldn't open until 6:30* It was sooooo hot! It was about 102 degrees and man... I was sweating so badly. We basically spent our whole time in line finding a way to smuggle our cameras inside. Which Joey managed to hide inside his pants. Then we got inside and bought Weezer shirts, and went inside. It was general admission so you could either stand near the stage on the floor or sit in seats. So we decided to sit on the 2nd level. Which turned out to be great seats. Then The Fray played. They were really good. Then Ben Folds played. They were ok I guess. I thought The Fray was better. Ben Folds had some rap song about fucking bitches on the street which was funny was stupid. I didn't like it at all. Then finalllllly Weezer came on. They were really good. The lights were cool too. I enjoyed it alot. The concert was over around 10ish and we went back to the hotel where I had to sleep with Eric's mom.. Which was weird. I did NOT enjoy that at all.
Friday we left Nashville around 6 and started for the trip back to VA. Traffic was horrible. There were wrecks, road construction.. everything. Then we stopped and ate at Cracker Barrell for breakfast. Then back on the road again. I slept for a while. And again. Then we got back to Roanoke around 3 or 4. Then I left and went to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Lynchburg. When I got there we went to eat at an italien restaurant and by the time we finished, it was time to go back home. So I didn't get to stay long, but it was still fun.
Saturday I was lazy all day. Then me, mom, & dad played Monopoly. Dad won of course. Then me & mom walked Apollo. We walked him over to Granny's and he let her pet him!! *gasps* That's progress for sure! Then uncle Donald came over and Apollo barked and jumped at him, so I pulled him away back to our house.
Today was crazy.. but I don't want to put what happened in here. And I tried studying for my stupid chem test tomorrow but I don't know what the hell is going on in this chapter. So eh. Oh well. So much for studying!
