Christmas and What Not
Since I've been home I've been sooo busy! I came home on the 16th because there was an ice storm in Roanoke which made me have to stay there until Friday. Saw a wreck on the way home, and then visited Mom at work where I ate lunch with her and then went home.
That Saturday I did alllll of my laundry.. which was ALOT, but I finally got it done! Then I decorated for Christmas and cleaned while Mom & Dad were at a Christmas Party. One of my old friends, Brandy, came by and stayed for about an hour and we just talked and hung out. I haven't seen her since graduation.
Sunday we were supposed to celebrate my birthday at Granny's house but she was sick, so Mom & Dad wanted me to open my birthday presents then becuase Dad would be at work on my birthday. The first present was a camera bag and the second was a brand new digital camera!!! I was soooo excited!!! Then me & Mom decided to go see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in South Boston and then ate at Burger King and headed home.
Monday Eric came here around 2 or so after he had finished with his exams. I spent that whole morning cleaning the house and what not. After Eric got there we rode to Maxway with Mom and then we all ate at Subway. When we were in line Eric noticed that Sarah was outside so I ran out there to talk to her and she came inside to say hey to everyone. Then Sarah went to visit her mom at work while me, Mom, & Eric ate at Subway. I don't remember what else we did..but we prolly just laid around and stuff.
The next day, Tuesday, was my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I had already opened presents from Mom & Dad, so Eric brought in my presents from his car. His Mom got me an Ipod charger, and he got me The OC: Mix 5 CD and The Wedding Singer DVD. I had an awesome b-day! Mom took off since I'm just so special! Me, Ben, & Eric all watched my new DVD and wrestled and just had fun. My mom made me an awesome cake. Two layers and half with icing and half without. With sprinkles on top! Then me, Mom, & Eric all went to WalMart to do Granny's Christmas shopping because she was sick and didn't feel like doing it. Then we ate at KFC/Taco Bell.
Wednesday, we had to wake up early and get ready to hang out w/ Sarah. She came and picked us up around 11 and then we went to Jimmy's friend's house to pick up Jimmy, Russ, and Lauren. From there me, Eric, Jimmy, and Sarah all rode in her car while Russ and Lauren followed us to Henderson to eat. After some arguing due to Lauren, the eclipse group decided to eat at Wendy's. After we ate, we rode to Raleigh to go to the Triangle Town Centre Mall. We didn't really shop, we just walked around and hung out. Then we wanted to go see a movie but we didn't know where there was a theatre at in Raleigh. So then we decided to go to Adventure Landing and play games. We played DDR, basketball, tried to win some cool prizes but failed, and then we all decided to play Laser Tag. By this time Jimmy's friend Tyler had met up with us so we all suited up and picked teams to play on. And man.. let me say that I suck at Laser Tag! But my team won the 2nd time! w00t w00t! Then Jimmy, Russ, Tyler, and Lauren raced go-karts while me, Sarah, & Eric watched. Jimmy's go-kart had something wrong with it and he putted along in the back during all the laps. It was quite funny! Then Jimmy asked a worker where a movie theatre was and we went to go find it. Lauren wanted to watch Narnia, but seeing as how I've seen it 3 times already, Me, Eric, Jimmy, and Sarah voted to see Fun with Dick and Jane. So before the movie we decided to go eat. Little miss Lauren wanted to eat Chinese since frickin 10am that morning and so they went down the road to find her a Chinese restaurant. They finally found one...a VERY expensive one. The dinner buffett was $10.99. So seeing as how Lauren had been whining all day for Chinese we all ate there. The food wasn't that great and they really didn't have anything to choose from. Finished eating dinner and then went back to the movies and saw the movie. It was sooooo funny!!! Then we all went home. Lauren had a 1am curfew so they went on before us. The ride home was fun. We sang "It's not my job to fuck you on your birthday..." hahhaa... that's my new fave song.. not really.. but I liked it! Then we all played sex and "got nakey" .. haha no we didn't. Then we were back at Russ's house so Jimmy could pick up his Jeep and Sarah took me & Eric home. That was a realllllyyyy fun day!!
On Thursday, we had to wake up even earlier because we were going shopping with Susan!! We woke up around 9 or so and took showers and headed out on our way to Appomattox. Got to Susan's around 10 and then we headed on to Roanoke. We shopped at the mall, WalMart, and Lowes. Got ALLL my shopping done!! WOOHOOO! Me & Eric ate at Chic-Fil-A and while we were in line I casually said to Eric "geez..why are all these people here?! they should be at work and in school" and the lady in front of me turned around and gave me the evilest look. It was hilarious!!! Then we met Susan in the food court and ate together. Then we drove back to Lynchburg and stopped by Red Lobster so I could get my parents a gift card then I got my hair cut at JCPenney, then we headed back to Susan's house. Got my bday present from Susan which was awesome! I got a bottle of Sparkling Grape Juice, fuzzy socks, and The Sweetest Thing DVD. We hung out there for a little while and then we had to head home so we could get there for dinner. Very fun day!!
Friday I had a dentist appointment at 10:30, so we woke up early and headed to South Hill. I didn't get seen until frickin 11:30! It was ridiculous. And when we were in the waiting room there was a guy outside puking. It was disgusting! Finally finished there and then we went to WalMart.. again to buy Mom a present from Dad and Eric picked up gifts for me from Ben. Then we came home and started wrapping all of the presents we bought. Then Dad called and we had to go pick him up in South Hill. We came home and I fixed pizza for everyone which was really good. Later on I remembered that I left Granny's X-Mas present in Susan's car so I met her in Drake's Branch to pick up the present. Came home, wrapped it and then went to bed!
SATURDAY WAS CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!! Slept in, took a shower, and then my aunt, uncle, and cousins came early because they wouldn't be at Granny's later that night because my cousin Brad was sick at home. My other aunt Shirley fixed lunch for all of us and we went over there to eat. Me, Eric, Amber, her boyfriend, and Andrew all watched TV in the living room while Mom, Shirley, James, Joanne, Button, Nancy, and her husband ate in the kitchen. Around 5, we went to Granny's to join in the festivities! Everyone was there. Me, Eric, Mom, Dad, Ben, Granny, Donald, Kay, Sarah, Stephanie, Ben R, Larry, Brenda, Eugene, Christy, Elizabeth, Phyllis, Bill, Paula, Craig, Blake, Valaria, Steve, BJ, Shirley, Button, Jason, his girlfriend, Heather. Everyone ate around 6 or so and then we all opened gifts around 7. Me & Sarah passed out presents. Eric got a Weezer shirt & a Vancouver Canucks calendar from me, popcorn tin, Dodgeball DVD and candy from Mom & Dad, Wedding Singer and Dumb and Dumberer from Ben, a music DVD game from Granny. I got an iPod case and socks from Eric's mom, socks and a $50 gift card to PacSun and a magazine from Eric, $20 gift card to WalMart from Granny and a doggie backpack thingy, and a Billabong shirt from Amber. Everyone left Granny's around 9-10. Then we all came home and played the new music DVD game granny had gotten for Eric. Eric won... 2 out of 3 games. Then we all went to bed.
Sunday was CHRISTMAS DAY!!! We had to get up at 7:30 because Eric had to be at his house by 10 for his family's Christmas. Eric left and I cried.. of course. Then we decided to just stay up and open presents. I got my iPod, an OC calendar, Mr & Mrs Smith DVD, socks, and a $200 gift card from Mom & Dad. I got the 13 Going on 30 and Deuce Bigalow:European Gigalo DVDs from Ben. Nicole came by and gave me my present:: The OC Board Game! Mom and Dad got a $40 gift card from Eric, $50 Red Lobster gift card from me & Ben, cologne, perfume, screwdriver, bracelet, and necklace. Ben got his gun, clothes, a knife from me, and the 40 year old virgin DVD. It was a very good Christmas and I am very thankful for everyone in it.
Yesterday Dad was off work and Mom took off all week long. We just sat around and watched all of the DVDs we had gotten from Christmas and went to eat lunch at Red Lobster. Dad got sick later that night off of the seafood I guess.
Today has been a lazy day. Dad didn't work today b/c he was so sick last night and we just sat around and hung out together!
