Relient K Concert!
This weekend was AMAZING!! On Friday I went to class and then Eric got here around 12:30 and we packed up the car and left to go to my house. On the way home, we ate at Jumbo's Restaurant which was a REALLY random restaurant. Still fun though. We finally got to my house around 3 or so. Then me, mom, and Eric all went to get food for everyone at Tastee-Freez and then after dinner me & Eric took Ben and his annoying friend Shannon to Max's house for a party. Then me, Eric, Mom, & Dad all went to get ice cream from Tastee-Freez.. which was a VERY fun trip for everyone! *Oh how I love my parents!* Then we all went to bed early since we had a long day ahead of us. We woke up Saturday around 7 and left for King's Dominion around 8:30 for the Relient K concert. Me & Eric got there around 10:30ish and we rode roller coasters until Joey & Devin got there. They got there around 11ish b/c Joey's car broke down... again! When they got there they decided to be brave and ride the new Tomb Raider ride while I sat and watched. Then we rode all the roller coasters except The Hurler (wasn't working), Rebel Yell Backwards (closed), and the Avalanche (boring ride and long lines!) There were some really funny moments throughout the day. One of which Joey decided to race the Hypersonic while it races off. He walked up beside it, stretched, took a racing stance, and ran the race of his life (I'm sad to report he lost). I forgot my camera but Devin took awesome pix all day long. Around 6 we decided to go ahead to the amphitheatre to get our seats, we all bought shirts and stuff. We had really good seats but Devin's weren't near us, but the nice security guard let him sit beside us anyway! The first band was really good. I liked them alot. They were from Ohio but I forgot their name. Then Rufio came on, but I didn't really like them. Then MxPx then RELIENT K!!!!!!! They were awesome! During their show, Devin's camera decided to spaz out and deleted all of his pix which sucks. The concert was over at 11 and then we all drove home. I was so sleepy and Eric had to keep me awake while I drove. Finally got home around 1 or so. Then we passed out b/c we were all so tired! Then Sunday Dad made us an awesome breakfast and we ate lunch at Granny's then drove back to Hollins. My fall formal dress is finished now and I brought back a cute little purse to go w/ it. I can't wait for this weekend! 2 great weekends in a row! Soon to be 3 with the YC concert coming up! w00t w00t!
