[Pearls] and the Bitter Taste Of Salt
(A Mermaids Search To Define The Aquatica)

Bubbles bursting under the surface of tides
outstretching to reach the surface for a fresh breath of clean air,
The sea-king has flourished his palace
decorated the drawbridge with pearls.
Living through aquatic cascades
mermaids find the diminishing waves to be a mirror used to re-write reflections.

The taste of salt is bitter and unable to fulfill the voids of the aquatica...

Starfish shooting beams of night-light across many miles of viewpoints
we search the crevices of waterfalls for a space to redeem gracefully,
Among the fallen anchors and the shattered boards of boats
creatures are cradling their memories of voyages
long overthrown by the hollow blisters undissolved by the bay.

Corals composed of crystalline pearls
an element to brighten the eyes of false statements,
Mermaids carry underwater umbrellas
to forbid the lace of these crystal composits
from raining down and relinquishing the search to depict existance.

With beauty sewn into the scales of sea creatures,
they are stitching together a definition of marvelous eyes among aquatic life.
