A tangible working piece of my family's history

So, today I took the rifle my Grandmother presented me with when I graduated to the range today. It was incredibly fun to use a rifle that my ancestors used to kill zombies.So... in order totest my zombie preparedness I aquired some of the antique ammo it shoots.....and shot it!

It was easy to shoot for not having a rear sight, worked near flawlessly, and was accurate considering it was made in 1905

Pics of the zombie killin madness.

Winchester model 1892

Unaimed, rapid fire from a 101 year old zombie massacre device.

When I actually tried. Granted itwas 25 yards out, no rear sight and 101 years old.

All in all I love it, love that I have a chance to shoot it, and will pass it down.
