(no subject)
Yeah, so I bought this wedding planning guide while I was in Connecticut and it is this EXTREMELY detailed binder of everything a wedding is supposed to have (or supposedly supposed to have). I thought that it would be very useful in planning the wedding, but it has given me a serious migraine and a bad case of cold feet.
I didn't realize that a wedding was so complicated. I don't see how I can do all of this by myself (including paying for it) and keep working the hours that I work. I mean, just the stupid section on different wedding dresses and necklines and sleeves and a-line this and empire that was enough to make me contemplate the courthouse! Yikes!!!!
This wedding stuff is soooo out of my comfort zone. I have no clue what I'm doing.
However, things I have managed to get done:
Picked theme colors: Red, Black, Ivory
Location: Longwood Community Building/Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (hopefully)
Set Date: March 8, 2008
Picked Attendants...Erica, Ginger, Amanda
Set guest list....it's at 150 due to budget constraints, cutting people was a freakin nightmare in of itself.
I was thinking two years was too much time for planning, but my mom told me it was just enough time to get locations and caterers that were in demand...and she was right. I have to book the Longwood Community Center NEXT MONTH to have it in March of 2008! This is insane.
