rainy days and mondays (don't) always get me down

good morning to the non-existent folks off livejournal, who have since migrated to livejournal's more vivacious cousins, tumblr, and wordpress. the other day keith went through all my past entries, and he was particularly delighted at still being able to read them. so, i'm thinking of just keeping those entries and raw thoughts, in hopes that they may become of particular use in future.

currently doing an assignment that revolves around reacting to hobswann and ranger's infamous "the invention of tradition". it has since been adopted wholesale by authors all around the world. quite impressive if you think, such a theory. in any case, since i could never be hobswann/ranger no. 2, the best i could do is find some holes in their theory. sir gave me a couple of interesting points to develop - it's amazing how brilliant his mind is?!?!?! the other day, another schoolmate and i were with him, casually chatting, nothing special, but my friend shared with sir his european history essay question.. and seconds later, BAM! the answer was out: the question poses a false dichotomy. such a terribly intelligent man. hopefully his kids weans on this!
