Death of the Happy
I'm terribly upset because my summer is coming to an end. This time, I have no new school to look forward to, no new perfect girl I'm planning on dating. My closest friends will be moving away to UGA, having the times of their lives. I'm pretty upset that I didn't get to hang out with some of my friends more than I did, especially Daniel Hayes. I suppose he's busy with his girlfriend, which is great for them cause they seem to really work well for each other. Kaung's already started his second year. I'm not working at the movies anymore because I do want a bit of a break, and I'll be taking 18 hours of classes this semester, so no steady flow of money coming my way; I just gotta work with what I've saved up. So I gotta look for the happy that I gotz right now. Like... video games! I got my guitar, and my skill is going up a tiny bit with it, too. At least I've made some friends at Mercer and I'll get to hang out with them. But we wouldn't be as free as we would be if it were the summer. I suppose I'll have to prioritize my time and focus on my school work otherwise I truly believe I'll get raped by the load. ... God, that sounded so wrong. Wellness Center membership? Yeah, I have a place to go to that's pretty darn close to where I live and I can work out, get in better shape. Hm a bit of a negative entry, but all my posts lately have been.
