Statement from the Americans: Whoops....our bad....

 So today we went to Dresden. And if any of you know anything about this town (Mat) then you know that it was the most bombed city in all of germany during WWII.  soon after they began rebuilding and not supprisingly they are still building stuff. the city is absolutly breath taking. its like scenes from a story book. a fairytale. we walked through some famous oprah houses, old cathedrals and churches and a couple of art galleries. we even went in the famous art university. there was a huge festival going on so we got to hear some beautiful music from orchastras and choirs. there was also a renaissance type festival going on.  we wandered though a huge art museum and saw the famous painting of the sistene madonna. it was awesome. being an artist, this place seemed like heaven. and the weather was perfect. but sadly we didnt get to see everything. theres just so much here to see and do so many places to go and so much good food to eat. it exhausting. it would take at least a week to see everything. but we left and came home and then went to a local soccer field to watch some of his friends play. now im fixing to wash some clothes and get ready for school tomorrow. it feels weird saying that because i know its not my school and i go and pretty much just sit there while everyone stares at me and the occasional brave soul will try to have a conversation with me. most of the people dont want to talk to me because they dont think there english is good enough, i try my hand at speakign german and fail misserably. i rather like listening to it then trying to speak it. i accidently spoke to someone in spanish the other day and they looked at me like i was crazy. oh well. ok well im going to go to take a bath now. post back later.
