So i finally got to upload some photos...they take awhile so ill have more up later. anyways so right now there is a thunderstorm coming so instead of going swimming at his friend phillips house, we decided to chill out here. today i wen to school with him again. i helped some of his classmates with their projects. i explained to him about the texas revolution and another kid was asking about the ku klux klan. thats what his project was about. i told him that it was mainly comprised of a bunch of old rednecks and brainwashed  teenagers with no life. he just laughed in agreement. after school we walked to a turkish restaurant and had the infamous döner that flo was always talking about in america. it was made from a large piece of lamb in which they shaved off thin pieces and then put it in a fresh piece of bread with a sauce on it. and i must say... it was delicious. and it was only 2.50...really cheap considering it was a fairly large sandwhich. with´the meal you get a free turkish apple tea drink. it tasted like liquid apple jolly rachers. it was very good. we sat there for awhile with two of his friends and they proceeded to sing random american songs to me such as britney spears, justin timberlake and prince. it was very funny. i was quite amused. afterwards we met another one of his friends at an ice cafe in the middle of town next to this really old church. we left there and wandered around the middle of town, looking at old buildings and in some shops. we left town and headed back home around 3 in which i then proceeded to take a 4 hour "cat nap". for dinner we had spaghetti. but it was made with little dumplings and pieces of pork. it was wonderful. Dad....you would have loved it. i told his mom that your favorite food was chicken and dumplings. i wish i could learn how to make some of these dishes so i can cook them when i get back home. ok well his brother need to use the computer so ill post again when i can. love you all.
