The Things I've Left Behind/ Have Melted in My Mind

I decided to skip classes today, solely for the fact that I need to get these papers done. And well, I figure I'd benefit more from spending the time writing rather than sitting in lecture. So here I am. Got my three hour favs mix going and I'm going to dedicate myself to Hesiod's Works and Days/ Theogony. Essay prompt: something along the lines of Why is Pandora a Woman?

Then, if I have time, I'm going to get started on my Partition Literature paper. I will probably focus on Manto's short stories, just because there is more material there, material I liked and feel I have something to speak about with, and it will be easier to fill out five to six pages than say focusing solely on one play or novel.

And then if I have time after that, if I don't feel like shooting myself, I'm going to catch up on the reading. That's what I don't understand. The professors all assign papers at the same time, and then don't decrease the reading. It's all...okay, how do you expect me to accomplish all of this while still going to work and having a life? I don't get it. But at this point, I'm so defeated I don't really care.

Oh, I need to also print out the fifteen pages of my newest short story so I can submit it. <3 I hope I get into that creative writing workshop. Heh. NOT THAT I NEED IT, RIGHT? *Deflates Ego with a pin* Yeah, I probably do. :) The more critique, the better the finished product. And I want this one to be super, super good.

school load, english paper, novel, essays
