I've decided that i'm going to start reviewing music on my lj. I think it will be fun and also help people to figure out if they'd like to listen to what i'm reviewing or not. I'm also going to give a sample that you can listen to! Sweet huh? (i'm such a dork). And I've also got a new mood theme. It's Doctor who season 10.
Today i'm going to be reviewing Yellowcard's
latest album, "Lights and Sounds".

Song list:
1. Three Flights Up
2. Lights And Sounds

7. Two Weeks From Twenty
8. Waiting Game
9. Martin Sheen Or JFK
10. Space Travel

The third album for Yellowcard starts with its first track "Three Flights Up", an instrumental, with only strings and piano. A soft, relaxing piece leading you into the next track, "Lights and Sounds" which is fast paced, with blaring guitar and very loud drums (the drummer has made two of the band members slightly deaf..), a perfect song for first single release. Its catchy, easy to sing along with and the lyrics are interesting. The lyrics of the album are sometimes political, but mostly made up messages and clever writing. The pace of the album changes throughout, providing a "rest" for 'hard-core listeners/moshers/singers/headbangers'. The album has been perfectly pieced together, providing solid listening and music not to be used as background noise. Overall a great album i had on repeat for many many weeks.
Lights and SoundsGreyHollywood Died I hope you like my first review! If you have a suggestions for improvement (like if it should be longer etc) then i'd love to hear it! And i'd also like to hear if you find my review helpful or not!
