Anyone miss me.... Yea, I've not been around much.. socially that is. So here's my update to all... cuz it's exciting!

So one day, I just happen to be in a park on Saturday drawing at a cosplay gathering minding my own business when... fast forwarding to a few hours later, I ran into this guy who I somehow started to have a very random conversation with, and it turns out his name is Sean too! By which all means he hands me his business card and we start talking about jobs and things we've done because he was interested in my art he saw me doing earlier. He mentions that he works in the Video Game industry, a developer of sorts... fast forwarding to end of long conversation, he invites me to hang out at a place called Club Good Hurt that following Monday to discuss some stuff and hang out more. After his many accounts of clarifying how much he loves women, I felt it was safe to say he wasn't hitting on me so I accepted.

I meet up at the club with this Guy Sean who also happen to know the bar tender who just happen to be dressed (Tastefully) in a tight, short black nurses outfit.. theme of the club. after some drinks and a few games of pool and wild live bands playing there, he pulls out a file of ideas he's been working on and presented them to me. It turns out he wants to hire me to do illustrations for some of his comics he is planning on presenting to Marvel and/or DC Comics... and gave me the option to either be paid for the job or take on royalty. He also gave me the option to either Illustrate his work or create my owe story.. After all this settled down, I wondered how I got into this Amazing situation in the first place. This guy Sean, Graduated at USC for Film and TV. He worked as Production coordinator for G4 TV. he is an Account Exec at PiMP, and Executive in charge for Coyote Mask, for video game development, and is the Owner, President of Carrsplay Agency, a Cosplay Model Agent. And some.. This guy knows people, Really! That's a hand full... and then throws this opportunity in my lap when I wasn't even looking for it!! But I'll take it!! He also mentioned to me that before we got together that night he was in a meeting with someone else in charge of this game they are working on right now, and told me that he mentioned me to her if they want some work in that area as well.
!!!!Excuse me, did I secretly fill out an application, or a portfolio somewhere I don't know about?
++++So, thats story one...
Story two is short... This time I KNOW SOME PEOPLE!
there is a temp job that goes on in Los Angeles every year and a half, which I did a year ago. Well the main Graphic Designer got promoted and in the mix they needed to fill the spot, and the guy who was the main designer remembered me from last year and suggested/recommended that they offer me the position because he's seen and enjoyed my work. So I go in last Wednesday, they ask me a bunch of questions.. as always, and said that the job is mine! I also became aware that I wouldn't be the Lead graphic designer.... I would be the Only one! And I would be assisted with a development adviser to assist me with what they need out of me. Its really cool.. the job ranges anywhere from 12 to $16 an hour for roughly 4 to 6 months, and it begins in mid July... and if I wanted to I can work at home sometimes! and I don't even have to miss Comic Con!!!!
++++ So the rest of my life goes like this.
I'm tired, I'm busy, I can't do everything I want to do right now because there are so many things planned on top of each other I Have to choose. I will be going to Phoenix Tuesday to see my Girlfriend, coming home Friday, and going to the RE Gathering Saturday, Trying to go to an Opera on Sunday for a friend. I haven't seen or heard from my friends in a while and I kind of felt like crying today because I'm on overload, and wish I had company. Been rebuilding my computers, started in a softball league, starting in a soccer league soon, taking care of my grandmother, and my new puppies, wishing I could go to the Ren Fair soon if I can get anyone to go with me, and by all means running out of money fast! My room is a disaster, my cars a mess, my life's a roller coaster, and my sanity is only so/so. AND MY XBOX FACES THE RINGS OF DEATH 3 DAYS AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRES!!!!!!!!!! Good thing I have 2 more consoles to hold me over.. MUAHAHAHAHAA... omg shoot me.. ! Bullet to the brain pan... squish
