As for the British slang, guilty as charged. Not deliberate, though. I even ranted about it. But, with lots of therapy since, I think I've got that ruddy tendancy licked.

I use British spellings not out of pretention but because I harbour an innate love for the English language and I am not at all fond of the American bastardisation of it. Yes, that includes crap spelling. Tviokh can vouch.
I have been granted permission by various British friends to employ such terms as "dodgy" in my conversation as well, and shall continue to do so when applicable and desirable, or whenever the whim siezes me.
My apologies if I am in fact one of those from whom it irritates you to see it, but I'm not about to stop; it's ingrained habit by now.
Besides- I enjoy being an irritant ;)
Am friending you under my actual OOC journal, incidentally, more for the purposes of keeping my OOC acquaintances separate from roleplay ones (yes, this account is an RP one.
