life is funny...
and the people that fill it are even funnier.

i tried to kill myself lastnight
with pills and alcohol.

i said a few goodbyes
but i mostly got a few "fuck off"s

the ones that you give all your time and energy to
are usually the ones that dont care
they obviously wont be there if you really need them

its the strangers,
the long lost friends
they are the ones that cared

shouldnt it be the other way around?

i got a call lastnight
that saved me
that got me to stop
and throw up
and think

a familiar voice
a familiar heart
the one person that i always woke up for

he was crying
i could sense his fear of what i was doing over the phone
"fuck you lacey"
but in that there was sincerity.
there was concern
there was love
"if you die, ill fucking die"
and my heart stoped
i woke up
