where the cactuses are greener
CALIFORNIA. Omg.
It's hot in there despite all the fan-action, and the house is huge.
I have two bathrooms nearly to myself! I have a whole wing of the house, actually, which includes a mini-kitchen, my [crappy] room, the study, and a bathroom WITH A TUB ZOMG.
And then there's a tv-room next to the kitchen next to my room and the other bathroom, and there's a huge space and the living room and then another wing with mum and dad's room at the end, their bathroom, Samu's room and Sippo's room.
I haven't been out much yet, we only went to the market and to pick up some chinese after we arrived yesterday. [twelve hours of sleep after that]
The baby is right at home, which is awesome, he keeps running around and laughing and he loves all these gadgety-toys they have here. We get to eat in peace, without him at the table!
He behaved very well in the plane :) He slept through the Helsinki-London-flight, and I looked after him during most of the [eleven-hour] flight. He must have slept for something like four hours though. People kept thinking I'm his mum, which amused us to no end XD
The flight attendants were awesome too, there was this totally gay one who was really nice, and this older lady who saw me drawing and obviously liked it really much, and she asked me if I go to art school/if I'm too young to go yet and am planning to do so, and then she wanted to show the drawing to some of the other crew members :D
There are dozens of lizards here, and nearly no insects! Wonderful compared to all the mosquitoes in Finland. There's are hills behind our back yard, I'll post pictures of them and from them after I've gone to 'explore' :D
Now we're off to see the centrum, and I get to see my new school :)
