Okay. I just saw an advert for some medication, and some side effects are "similar to placebo."
What the crap?

I thought sharp was like, blunt and mean. Which I sincerly hope I', not.
What the "similar to placebo" means is that the side effects that people were feeling were no different from those that people receiving the placebo got - so it's probably not caused by the medication, is what they're saying. ^^
