Like You
Will isn’t sure what he used to live for, or exactly what he wanted in life, but now he knows that there is only one person that he wakes up in the morning for and goes through each day just to spend time with him. He lives for Ben. Ben, and only Ben.
Will never thought that his world could revolve around only one person. But it does. Ben is always on his mind and it’s amazing because Will isn’t sure how he ever got along before Ben. And he really doesn’t want to question it because he’s terrified that one day he’ll wake up and Ben will be gone and their time together will all have been a wonderful dream.
Will knows that he’s never met anyone like Ben before in his life and has that gut feeling that tells him he never will. They’ve only known each other for less than a year and already Ben knows him better than anyone else in the world, better than even his parents. Ben always knows exactly what Will needs to hear, whether he’s upset, or angry, or so ridiculously happy that Ben can’t do anything but grin and laugh along with him. He knows when Will needs to just be left alone or when he needs someone around to tell him that yeah, life’s a bitch and that it’s hard and that there are some days where you just want to crawl back into bed and try again tomorrow, but you’ve got to get up anyway because you never know when that really awful day could end up being your best.
Ben is the only one that Will trusts wholeheartedly with not only his life, but his heart as well. Because Will knows that when Ben wraps his arms around his waist and whispers, “I love you” in his ear, and promises that they’ll be together forever, no matter what, that he means it.
