Ottawa
OK, so this is kinda late but anywho Ottawa was fun. The hotel we stayed at, The Albert at Bay Hotel was beautiful and felt like a 4 stars hotel!! After we got settled in we went walking 'downtown' and it was like deserted! We walked into this mall and it was completely empty. It was a government of Canada building but there was like NO ONE there - only janitors. It felt like a horror movie where the town is deserted practically and the few that are there are brain eating zombies. No joke! Finally we hit civilization and walked like 8 blocks from our hotel. We were so tired so we just decide to eat at a Mr.Sub, for $40! It was ridiculous. Before we went back to the hotel we stopped in at Microplay and I got BTVS for Gamecube!! It is sooo fun. After we got back to the hotel the boys went to the game and we got a ride to the Rito mall (by a HOTT taxi driver btw). Well we got there about 5:58 and the mall closes at 6! What mall closes on a Saturday at 6? So we had to get a taxi to the Bayshore Mall which cost us $28. In total we spent $70 on taxis that night! I got this nice hoody/sweater thing from Old Navy which was really nice. We got back to the hotel and brought frozen dinners in the 24 hr convenience store, ate, then watched back to back episodes of the stupid Search for the Next Pussycat Doll. Next day we went back to the mall for a bit and I got the Charlie LOST Action Figure. It was a fun weekend. I was sooo tired when I got back on Sunday and it sucked having to wake up early and go to school the next morning.
