I was just browsing youtube.
And I know I wrote a rant a year or so ago about how Hollywood would end up wrecking animes like Akira, Bleach and Death Note.
So then I finally accepted the fact Death Note for sure is going to be Americanized. In fact even though the manga is set in Japan... an American setting would definitely be an interesting twist what with all the drama, perhaps some familiar names will appear in the Death Note.
And then the whole debate popped up as to who would end up playing certain roles and though it was a parody I agree to an extent. This is my conclusion based on Qualitative (appearance) data alone:
Light: Zac Efrom
Misa: Hanna Montana/Miley Cyrus
Ryuk: Clint Eastwood.
and finding someone for L still hasn't crossed my mind yet. They have to be epic though.
Yeah I was bored and in a very pessimisticly accepting mood. XD
