Fan Expo 2011
It was awesome. Got to say the Fan Expo was awesome and the chocolate almond Pocky was to die for. Or kill for, which ever you prefer.
Finally I found the four things I've wanted for like the past year or so.
1. Let The Right One In (Film)
Nobody knows how long I've been searching for a copy of this film, this epic film that makes American directors look like shit (Let Me In). Gosh. Finally. Thank you Horror Section.... You F*CKING ROCK!
2. The Original KICKASS Vol. 1 (Comic)
Like yesh! The original stuff! With the original plot, the original character (who is much creepier) and the original character development and origins. YESH! Though I love the film more this comic book series is one I'll always follow.
3. Mystery Men (Film)
One of my favourite movies growing up that introduced me into the land of comic books. So yes, this movie is fricken awesome. For my birthday I might just host a Mystery Men Audition Party. Wouldn't that be cool?
4. A comic book in general which has Daken in it.
Thank you Wolverine Origins Thank you. I love this evil maniacal prick who is always trying to get revenge on his father. Thank you! Now I can fangirl over his awesome hair and tattoos.
Overall, chilling with friends was what I enjoyed most. I only went on the Sunday but it was still a blast. Next year I aim to take a road trip all the way down to the Sandiego Comic-Con.
