second semester.
everyone tells me to update - yet i feel there is nothing exciting in my life to update about ... what else is new reston.
Last semester was awesome, but really hard. My grades fell pretty significantly and i'm .083 away from being ineligible for PSP, but i'm good for now. During finals last semester I failed my econ final - and pretty much hated myself for it. I thought it wasn't going to count as my gen ed requirement and I would have to take 9 credits this summer, well that would mean no Italy. Luckily, i got a C- and the course will count - so its only 6 credits this summer. But after talking to my dad, we decided, studying abroad isn't the option right now.
This happened for a few reason: 1. its really expensive and i get no financial aid. 2. my family is having money issues with all my moms doctor stuff. 3. i need to be making money, not spending it. 4. jeepy is dying and needs to be replaced.
So, I will be in CVille most of the summer, taking classes and hopefully getting a part-time internships. PS HOW DO PEOPLE FIND ALL THESE INTERNSHIPS!? its so friggin hard. I'm trying to work my "connections" aka Coach Trout's sister?! and it makes it harder bc architecture is like... small firms and shit.
I'm so excited to move into my house at the end of the semester. I finally know which room is mine and im excited to make it my own and more importantly - have a double bed! me and meaghan might have rooms next to each other which would be awesome. i just have to acquire some furniture.
now that i have made some really awkward paragraph breaks and talked about how boring my life is - classes start wednesday - hopefully things will pick up then and i wont be sitting my apt watching hgtv and food network with caitlin via AIM. :]
