weeeeeeeeekend.
midsummers was AMAZING. friday had dinner with a bunch of kids for Meaghan's birthday and i fully expected to be like over shadowed by all her other friends that were there but we actually hung out the whole time which was awesome. i was the only person under 21 - so they all were drinking their $5 pitchers of bud light while i enjoyed a refreshing glass of ice water. friday night was fun - was a "birthday party" but really just turned into all the people in psp that i like being there and just hanging out. lessons of the night: 1. bud ice - tastes the same as natty. 2. a 40oz of bud ice is $1.47
bodos and a shower cured the hangover and then went to see Bruno with some kids. i convienently was the only girl when the movie was just an ode to penis. was rather ridiculous. had a cookout at the house and hung out with my big, Liz, for the first time really ever haha. she is awesome and hilarious and i guess we were just shy? in the beginning. im gunna miss her in the fall - she is studying at oxford for the semester. beer pong started at 9 - i played till 1130. hahahahha. got into a "fight" with nathan parker - hottttest boy in PSP EVER - "we" played hide n' go seek but he just hid and thought it was funny. layed on the trampoline from 1230-3ish with a bunch of people... including micheal :]
sunday - went tubing with kids. my butt hurts like a bitch from hitting rocks and was terribly sunburned. afterward went and got ready to head home - was gunna see meaghan but we were not communicating well. i pulled over into a shopping center (conviently in front of chipolte) to make a few calls and grab food really quick. i was talking on the phone with caitlin when i heard a BOOOOOOM! (no exaggeration) and smoke pouring out of my engine and fluids alllll over the ground. i jumped out with my keys and phone and called my dad immediately. luckily a guy in a car like two cars over - was a mechanic and told my dad what happened. opened the hood to see my radiator hose blown to pieces and everything soaked in fluid. the temp gauge stopped working and my fans completely blew as well. so i freaked out - luckily my friend melissa was driving by and stopped and also happened to be on the phone with meaghan. they basically kept me from breaking down and crying bc i had no idea left to do. OHHHH best part - one person called 911 - i had three handles of vodka in a "sky vodka" box in the trunk of my car - luckily the mechanic said it wasn't neccesary so they didn't come. almost peed my pants in fear. ending up leaving my car in cville and meaghan drove me back to NOVA last night. car is being fixed now.
seriously that was a huge FML moment. amazing weekend with a terrible bump - ride home with meaghan was hilarious and made the whole situation feel insignificant.
