(no subject)
well its 4:45 in the morning and I can't sleep. I haven't been able to sleep for a good week now. I took a dose of Nyquil to help me sleep an hour ago and sat at the computer until it kicked in. Unfortunately for me I'm still wide awake. i guess it didn't work.I wish I could, it looks so cozy. Leila is snoring away..the kitty is sleeping where my feet should be, both of them equally hogging the covers and I'm here updating live journal. this is sad. but then again i haven't updated in a while so....where to begin.
+I proposed to Leila. She said yes. Rissa=Uber Happy Bunny. Pictures of ring and such to follow fairly soon.
+I went home for XXX-Mas had much fun with Dyldar and Jonnypants. Recieved many fine gifts.
- Missed Leila bunches.
+Came back the day before New Years and had much drunken merriment.
+spent week having more drunken merriement accompanied by lots of food sleep and sex. my three favorite things.
- Returned to Rhode Island last week because my grandfather passed away. Returned Tuesday after the services were done. I thank Dylan because he was there for me and my family.
So here I am. I have three days left before the hustle and bustle of school begins again. I feel like I've been cheated out of my vacation. My schedule for next semester leaves little to be desired. And I haven't slept. I do have certain things to look forward to though:
*apartment hunting with Leila
*going back to the gym
*a trip to Arizona during Spring Break
egads this has been a mopey live journal entry. i haven't had one of those in ages. so i'll lighten the mood with a joke:
A man walkes into a butcher shop and says " I'll bet you $100 that you can't reach that meat on the top shelf." the butcher looks at him and says, "No sir i will not take that bet, the steaks are too high."
note...the motion sensor light just went out in the driveway...which means something has been making stay on. odd....i hope a bum didn't try and nap in my car. although i wouldn't blame him...its freaking pouring out. also, i noticed a neighbor has thier lights on in the kitchen...I got excited at the prospect that someone would be an insomiac too until i realized that they're probably getting ready for work.
