I came Across this anime unintentionally while flipping through tv channels and it simply absorbed me in. The anime 'Memories' is a film that consists of 3 unrelated episodes, each is written and presented in a rather enigmatic format. It's from 1995 I think, so yeah it's been around a while..Im surprised I didn't come across it before!

Ohhhh "memories" it's been a long time i saw these animes.

Otomo Katsuhiro (akira) had really very strange (and interesting) ideas. ^^

Cannonfodder is indeed the most impressive i think - a society living for a "long gone" war.

"Fire and Ice" from Ralph Bakshi may be another good classic and "Herrscher der Zeit" from René Laloux, sadly i can't find any english version of it.
