I don’t think I should’ve been excited for this year.
My schedule:
1 & 2-AP Physics
Due to an 'emergency medical situation', Mr. Borst is teaching the class until Mr. Menard returns, which won't be until atleast October. He might not even come back this year. So that kind of sucks. I don't really know many people in the class. There are only about 5 other juniors. The rest are seniors. The only person I really talk to is Danielle. The class seems like it'll be reasonable; I might have trouble in the beginning since most of the class has already had physics. Oh well. I should be fine.
3-AP European History; Mrs. Baronner
There are very few people I know/like in this class. I don't think it will be as much fun as I thought it would be because of that. Gaaaay. Mrs. Baronner seems pretty nice/fun/fair, though.
A Lunch
There are tons of people I know in lunch. I sit with Meg, Megan, Christina, Ashton and some other people. I tried saving a seat for Wapner, but someone sat there, so he sat at the end of the table. I went down and sat with him for a while and Lauren came over and talked to us. We're going to have to rearrange seats so I can sit by Meg AND Wapner.
4-Honors Trig/Calc-Mr. Falger
This class shouldn't be too bad. I like most of the people in it and Mr. Falger seems like he'll be a good teacher. Although I doubt he'll compare to Lambertus.
5-Spanish-Sr. Poole
I don’t like the class at all. It’s not that I don’t like the people; it’s more of the fact that I’m already with most of them in other classes. I was hoping there’d be a lot of different people in my class and that it would fun like last year. But I don’t think it will be. And it’ll be harder to get participation points because everyone will participate [since it’s mostly Honors kids]. Ughh. It should still be really easy though.
6-English-Mrs. Suter
I walked in and realized that the teacher is this lady that goes to my church, which is pretty cool. She seems nice. My class isn’t too bad. I sit by Ashton and Katie (: It should be at least semi-somewhat-fun.
7-Newswriting-Mr. Baker
My favorite class. There are a lot of new people. Hopefully it’ll be as fun/easy as last year.
I hardly get to see Dan throughout the day. We were hoping to have the same lunch period, but of course we don’t. It sucks a lot.
Danielle’s schedule got messed up. We should’ve had most of the same classes, but because they gave her Honors World Studies instead of AP Euro, we only have 2 classes together.
Meg is probably going to get switched into yearbook, and then she won’t be in as many of my classes, which sucks because right now she’s in 4 of my classes and is one of the only people I like in most of them.
My homeroom still needs to be changed.
My locker sucks. It seems smaller than the one I had last year and the lock sticks. Wonderful.
In other news…
I might quit tennis. I just don’t know if it’ll work with school work and other extracurriculars. Besides, I’m never actually going to play. Ahh idk.
I got my hair cut yesterday. I think I like it a lot.
The summer went way too fast, especially this past month.
I got a letter from a college the other day. It made me remember that I should actually start thinking about college. I don’t want to. But it’s so much closer than it seems.
I hate how everything goes so fast.
Slowwww down, life.
I want to have a life this year.
I want to make lots of friends.
I want to actually be interested in school.
And try harder.
And get better grades.
…but I doubt any of that will happen.
