(no subject)
Yesterday Dan came home with me to help me work on my presentation/speech for English. We didn't get all that much done, but the extra help was still nice. My dad let him drive his van most of the way to his house. I was a little nervous about him driving, but he did well. He did run a red light though. Haha. It was kind of funny, especially since there was a cop in front of us. After we took him home, I went shopping for an outfit to wear to my sister's 6th grade recognition. I found 2 that I liked, so I got both. But, as always, I couldn't find shoes. Probably because I have huge feet. I got home around 9:45 and finished up my posters around 11:30. Then I did my spanish homework. I went to bed around 12:30, which is the latest I've stayed up [in order to do homework] in a while.
I went to Danielle's locker when I got to school today and then went with her to put her stuff in her homeroom. Upon entering her homeroom, Sr. Poole asked told us to deliver hoagies. Dandy. So we went to my homeroom and touched up my posters. Dan and Wopner came in to visit and Wopner messed up his leg STRETCHING, yes stretching, at the IDT show last night. Haha. Anyways, then Danielle and I went on a search for the hoagies. Once we actually found them, we had to rush around to deliver them. We made it back just before the bell for 1st period rang and I didn't get to do my chemistry/algebra homework I had planned on finishing during homeroom.
Mr. Stoudnour decided that we aren't having another chemistry test before the final, which is wonderful. I hate chemistry and can't wait until after the final when we get to do fun labs and make ice cream.
Health was, you know, health. I forgot to mention that a magician came yesterday. Pretty exciting, I know.
Being the insane woman she is, Mrs. Lambertus insisted on collecting our algebra homework from last night that absolutely no one understood. She hadn't been as obnoxious lately, but it's those kind of things that make me want to kill myself. Or her.
Hmm Spanish. I don't really like when Srta. Snyder teaches. She refuses to call on me sometimes and then gives me low participation grades. We have a quiz tomorrow. I'm definitely not wasting time studying.
Tomorrow we are having our AP final. Mr. Ergler decided that since he's a big bad AP teacher and can schedule our final whenever he wants that the sophomores and juniors are going to take it the same day as seniors. Not cool, Mike. Definitely not studying for that either. Although I should; I need to bring my grade up because his insane quizzes have been kicking my ass. Oh well.
I was supposed to deliver my presentation in English today. Well, after 3 people went, we only had 4 minutes left in class. But JMac still insisted I go because she apparently cannot tell time. So I got about 2 minutes into my speech and the bell rang. So I'm going tomorrow. I just don't know whether to start over or pick up where I left off. Err.
Michele and I did absolutely nothing during Newswriting. Okay, I take that back. We made cootie catchers. Spending time wisely<3
I made no real attempt to catch my bus today, so Dan and I just went to the library and waited outside until my dad picked me up. After playing a few exhilarating rounds of "I'll throw my ring in the grass and you try to find it," we got bored and decided to check out a Where's Waldo book. We discovered that there is a secret character hidden on all of the pages. His name is Daren. Well, that's what we named him. He's the best.
I came home and got ready to go to Kelli's recognition and did her hair. Then we went out to the Casino. There was really good food and cake<3, which was pretty much the only reason I went. Kelli won a bunch of awards, and I was really proud of her. We didn't get home until around 8:30.
And now I'm here.
My cousin Stacy and her boyfriend came to visit for a few minutes, which was nice.
I should probably study for AP or Spanish and/or practice my speech. But I just don't feel like doing anything school-related.
Oh yeah, I dyed my hair over the weekend. Deep Burgundy Brown. I was bored with just brown. It looks nice. I like it.
I am actually pretty happy right now. Today was a pretty good day.
I am so glad the school year is almost over. Then I will be even happier.
& I'm out.
