Age doesn't matter
Hey here's the next part, I'm missing the girls already and they aren't even over yet xx I just hope that sian leaves on fact she can't trust not cus Soph has chose Amber. well enjoy and dunno wen ill update again because tommrow I'm out of this isolation and back to work.
Sunday Afternoon
Jake was sat in the living room playing with his Thomas the tank engine trains whilst watching Scooby doo. Sian was in the kitchen ironing some clothes that she had washed the previous day.
“Jake your dad will be here in 5 minutes so put your trains away please”
“Okay mommy”
A minute later there was a knock on the door, the person stood the other side was Ryan with a teddy.
“Hello little man”
“Dad is that for me”, Little Jakes face lit up.
“Yes it is”, Jake then hugged his dad and took the soft teddy out of his hands.
“Ryan” Sian said whilst looking at the floor.
“Sian”
“Listen I’m sorry about the phone call last night, I was out of order and I promise from now on I’ll be a changed man for both Jake and you”
“Ryan we passed this stage a while ago, there is no me and you”
“Well I’m sorry for everything, I’m going to stop drinking and I want to do something for Jake but you have to agree to it”
“What is that then”
“Don’t go crazy but a few days ago I booked a 4 day break for me and Jake, I know I can’t take him alone so I wonder if Tina could come too”
“Ryan I don’t know, I know I trust Tina but you know court orders are for me to be there while your with Jake”
“Okay well in that case you come with us”
“Ryan I can’t just leave this place because you booked a holiday”
“Please Sian I wanna prove myself as a good dad to Jake”
“Let me think about it”
After this everything was good between Ryan and Jake, Ryan seemed to be making an effort and showing interest in his son for once. After a bit of consideration Sian decided that maybe this time would be good for the both of them.
With her decision made she told Ryan who was delighted to get the chance to show them what a good dad he could be.
It was now 6pm and Ryan had left a while ago and Sophie was due to come over again. Within no time Sian noticed her girlfriend walking down the path in her hoodie, her black skinny jeans and her high top converse.
Before Sophie could reach the door, Sian went running out and wrapped her arms around Sophie, “Baby i missed you loads and you haven’t even left yet”
“Good to hear, well can we take this inside because one I wanna kiss you so bad right now”
“Let’s do it Right here then”
“Sian we are in public”
“Soph I don’t really care now, we have less than a week until we can become public”
“Wow your living on the dangerous side of life today aren’t ya”
“Mmm yeah”
“So how was the visit from Ryan”
“Surprisingly good and there’s actually something I need to tell you”
“What’s that then babe”
“Well Ryan seemed different today and actually was caring towards Jake”
“He is fishing for something you know that right”
“Actually Soph for the first time I think he was actually genuine”
“Hmmm yeah right” Sophie then rolled her eyes at Sian.
“Soph he has stopped drinking”
“After a couple days, what a lie anyway what is the news”
“Well I agreed to let Jake go with him on holiday for 4 days”
“But I thought he wasn’t allowed to look after him alone”
“That’s why I agreed to go with them”
“What”, Sophie had now a look of confusion. She didn’t say a word for a few minutes because she was in shock at what Sian just announced to her.
“Babe say something”, Sian then took Sophie’s hand which Sophie pushed away immediately.
“What can I say oh yeah I’m happy that my girlfriend is going away with her soon to be ex-husband”
“Soph it’s nothing like that”
“Oh your so vulnerable that he is going to try and woo you by pretending he’s a changed man”
“Soph its nothing like that anymore, me and Ryan are history”
“I’m not so sure about that anymore”
“Soph don’t be like this I want you, I’m doing this for Jake. Every minute the only person on my mind will be you”
“Sian I don’t want you to go, I know he has a plan up his sleeve”
“Sian forget it you go and act like the perfect family, and forget about me whilst you are there. I’m going to aye Napa and I’ll try my hardest to forget you”. The words hit Sian instantly like a tonne of bricks.
“Soph no”
“I’m going enjoy your family holiday and don’t think of trying to text me”, Sophie then slammed the door leaving a distraught Sian back in the house.
Within 10 minutes Sian left 10 voice mails and had left 20 missed calls and a huge amount of texts which there was no reply to.
Sophie had just arrived back home and she was in a right state, this was quickly noticed by her sister Rosie.
“Are you okay babe, who has upset you”
“It’s fine Rosie” Sophie instantly jumped down her sister’s throat.
“Is this about your girlfriend”
“Yeah she is going away with her ex”
“She loves you though, has she tried calling you after your argument”
“Yeah nonstop”
“Well babe either sort it before we leave later on or sort it out when your back from Napa. Remember Napa will take your mind off everything”
“Hmm your right”
3 hours had passed by and Sophie had cut all contact with Sian. This was until 3am had approached and she received another text but this one caught her attention.
‘Soph I get it your mad but please hear me out, if I have to stay outside your house until you leave its fine by me. I will make a scene until I see you’
‘Sian are you nuts, its 3am and what about Jake’
‘Jake’s asleep in his car chair, please come for a five minute drive we need to talk’
‘Okay ill be down in 5 minuets’
Shortly after Sophie sneaked out and got into Sian’s car. It was clear Sian had been crying most of the night.
As they drove off Sian reached for Sophie’s hand, Sophie accepted and looked over at Sian.
“Why do this at stupid o’clock, your sons fast asleep and you haven’t had a wink of sleep”
“I needed to speak to you; I couldn’t lose you because of this stupid holiday”
“Sian I’m sorry I over reacted and I shouldn’t of said those mean things to you. I couldn’t go to Napa and forget you”
“Good because I wouldn’t want that, Soph like I said your my future and doesn’t risking people seeing me outside your house at 3am mean nothing to you”
“It means a lot and I love you, I just got jealous knowing that Ryan has one thing in common with you that I’ll never have”
“What’s that”
“He shares the most beautiful thing in the world”, Sophie then turned her head to the sleeping boy behind her.
“Listen Soph, your bond with Jake is strong if not stronger than Ryan’s”
“Okay so can we put this aside and spend time together because in one hour I have to leave for the airport”
“Okay well I’m going to take you somewhere first”. Sian then drove Sophie to a quiet hill top that was located 15 minutes away. They then spent 15 minutes cuddling and looking up at the stars before they had to leave.
“Soph I’m going to call you every day, I don’t care if my bill goes over because your worth it”
“Okay well I need to go because otherwise people will notice I slipped out”. With that the girls shared there last kiss and shared an emotional goodbye. Sophie then kissed Jake on the forehead and left the car.
As Sophie stepped closer to the door a tearful Sian mouthed I love you and blew one last kiss to Sophie.
After this Sian arrived home put Jake into bed and put a few things in a bag for them both to take away with them on their little adventure which they would be going on the day after.
