I really hope you can get it removed from your diagnosis list ASAP! It seems everyone who's been abused gets that label slapped on them without much thought, I'm also trying to get it removed from my notes. Not even exaggerating, I think 3/4ths of my friends list have been told they have BPD when they clearly don't. =/ When you were diagnosed did they offer you any therapy, or did they just leave you hanging?

YES, that's one of my biggest pet-peeves! I use a walking stick (and sometimes a wheelchair) nowadays so my illnesses aren't as invisible as they used to be, but I still get the usual looks of disbelief whenever I use a priority seat on the London Underground, for example. =/

Not at all! I'm in the same boat; I haven't properly updated since 2010 and as time goes by it seems harder to come back, especially since most people are more active on Facebook (speaking of which, I'll be sure to add you there as well), so I tend to only use LJ for communities now.
