DJAPANA CARES is launched over the last few weeks (plus an 'outside gate' week before I was hospitalised for a MONTH, and going well. I sell stuff of mine (excess clutter so I can move in the house), give out free information from organisations like Beyondblue mental health charity, and talk to people about re launching Bears who Care under a new name, what we did back then, and what I plan to do now. It's a very exciting highlight of the week.
Cindy and I swapped computers, so I now have what I'm used to, a desktop running XP and she has the laptop she wanted, she just has to format it and put XP instead of Vista. She's more of a nomad than I am, I prefer to do without the computer when I'm away from home, and have my computer one I can type properly on. I went into disability settings and set it for high visibility and I now have the black screen I love!! Yay!!!
I've been getting a lot done around the house as well as paperwork. Today I took my paperwork and knitting and sewing out onto the front porch. Not sure yet whether I actually get more done, I'm keeping a task list, not of jobs to do, but of ones actually done, and either the clock is going slow or I'm getting a lot more done than seems possible.
The photo for this post is of my sunset at home. It was called "DJAPANA" (Sunset Dreaming) for a very good reason. The sunrises can be equally spectacular.
Bye for now. If you're in Australia and want to find out more about DJAPANA CARES, please email me at djapana7@tpg.com.au .
