Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone!
I hope everyone is well~ I get to spend the winter break at my Dad's in South Dakota this year. I decided to take Marie along on my trip since she seems to be my travel buddy. I don't know why it never occurred to me to take pictures of her in the tree last year.. but lol making up for it this year~

A business proposition

I figured this would be the best way to contact you since you are not out on DoA that often.

The DollAKon organizers would like to hire you to make some buttons for the con.

We would need the larger button size for a simple button that says "DollAKon Panelist" or "DollAKon Staff". They have a graphic already that says DollAKon so I’m going to assume they will want you to use that along with a readable font for ‘panelist’ and ‘staff’. Though they may be open to a different graphic from you.

It would be nice to have something in your smaller size for dolls to wear but nothing has been suggested for what it would say beyond DollAKon. Maybe something with ‘DollAKon Attendee’ or ‘I attended DollAKon 2011’ or ‘I attended DollAKon 2011 and all I got was this stupid button’.

You would also have the exclusive selling rights at your booth and we’d promote you before and during the con.

We’re also discussing making doll tee shirts with the logo.

From Shannon: For buttons, if Keri and her mom have the equipment, it would be nice to ask them and support local. I'm always for supporting local first. Her being able to sell the buttons during the convention is a cute idea. If her design is used on tiny t-shirts, she could maybe sell those for us as well. Any shirts she sold during the convention she could take a commission and then the rest would go in the petty cash for next year. We could advertise her booth between panels.

I don’t have an amount needed yet but this is an initial ‘touch base’ with you because you are our first choice to commission this work.

I need to hook you up with Shannon and Donna directly for the details.

Hi there Onna! that sounds really fun!

Unfortunately.. *sigh* I don't know if I have a table for this year. They sold out in 1 minute, and I signed up in 2 minutes time. Hopefully there will be a waitlist generated so I can give more people and idea about if I can get one. :CC

I'm sorry about this, I know you guys are trying to plan things out. Thank you for coming to me first though! I would have loved to do it. Cx So much fun!
