5 Golden Rules For FANGiRLiNG
As THE FANGiRL -which was actually my name for both bebo and my website- I thought I should share some thoughts on the art of fangirling, and how to do it without being so OTT. You may agree, disagree, I don't give a fxck, but these are my rules, and I stick to them no matter what.
1. Your stars are hot, yes they are. Sometimes, they even know they are. . . .but that doesn't mean that these hot pieces of sexiness want to be groped. Respect their personal space please.
2. Sure, we love our shounen ai and yaoi, but don't you think they even THEY would be scared if you screamed it out load? Keep your yaoi and s/a to fanfics STRICTLY, and don't send them scripts of your fantasies. it's icky.
3. If you actually get a chance to see/meet them (lucky bxtches), remember that they. are. people. Hug them, maybe even get a kiss, but don't. fxcking. kill them (ring a bell, YamaPi fangirls in Korea? Whores. >=/)
4. Being bxtchy is an on and off thing, but forums are places where everyone loves the same thing. Don't get on another's ass just coz they haven't liked so and so for so long which means you're a bigger fan. You're not. Move on.
5. I know that some stuff is hard to get - gosh, what I would give to be able to go to a Dir en Grey concert - so I understand the need to download; but no matter what you think or believe, your stars don't get any money from you downloading their works. Seriously. If you can, support the artists. Buy their DVDs and CDs - coz every little bit helps, and you do want to help your true loves, no?
& that's it - SA's deepset morals which she does NOT stray away from.
Footnote: YamaPi Fangirls From Korea: they ripped his clothes off his body and one girl shoved her camera in his face after he helped her up. He ended up collapsing. It was supposed to be a 'secret' holiday in Korea. Johnny cancelled all NEWS tours/shows in Korea after that. Let that be a lesson to you.
