its easier (mentally, emotionally and physically)to write a brief something than to go through my phone book and actually have to repeat the story 500 times.
Completely understood. I was glad to hear something, finally. ^^
Awwww. *sniffles & gets all warm & fuzzy*
*wraps you up in a warm fuzzy blankie* ^^
Well, in actuality the SHORTEST way there brings me about 2 hours away from St. Louis, so it may be an idea
*nod* It all depends on when you tack south. Because highway 70 is a great way to go west, and it does run a couple miles past my house. But time is precious, especially when you're driving that far, and I don't want to put you out by two hours, either. *nod* I'll leave it up to you. You can also see how you feel/how it's going when you're en-route. I'll make sure to be by a phone that day.
....Instead of turning south in Kentucky I could just go straight...
If you're coming through Kentucky instead of Illinois, that might be a big detour. Kentucky is already more south than STL.
I will have my little monsters with me though & your cats have had enough problems without dealing with mine for a night. :-)
You know? I expect my cats will still be pissy then, what with adding a new one to the mix the end of this month, but they can deal for a night. I have a nice-sized bedroom with a door that shuts tight, and if your babies don't mind being in a room with you for a night, it should be fine. Maybe there will be some hissing through the door, but it won't kill anyone.
But you let me know about that, and I will keep the idea up on the shelf for the next few weeks.
*thumbs-up*
Besides, St Lousie is only a 10 hour drive from Dallas (or so Mapquest tells me)
10-12, I think, depending on how you drive. ^^ Very close for a visit next summer or whenever.
Seems nothing is a social occasion lately *shrug*
True. *hugs*
But if I time my leavign right, we could actually get to hang for a few hours before sleepy time.
True. Though the day itself...*looks back at your itinerary* if you got in that Sunday, I could take off work and be ready for you. Even Saturday would be fine - but I think a day's worth of driving would put you somewhere in Ohio or Indiana. But if you got here Monday, that might be a problem because of my class. We'll just see. ^^
Now, now - if you hug the life OUT of me; then I'll never get to Texas ;-)
Well, okay. How 'bout the stuffing? *grin* Better than a diet!
I do need all the hugs I can get though ^^ *snuggles*
*much love*
