This is gonna b a long one...
Wow... I havent updated my journal in so long. To make things worse so much has happened over thepast two weeks that I cant actually remember everything... actually I cant remember hardly anything at all so this post may be completely pointless! lol!
I am in desperate need for a job, and cannot find one anywhere. I joined the temp agency at uni, and they havent got in touch, but I have found some jobs in Oadby (which is basically where my halls are) so I re-wrote my CV today and am going to wonder up there tomorrow after my lecture I think. Other than that I have loads of reading to do. I think I picked the courses with loads and loads oof reading, but its ok, I am only actually at uni for 8 hours a week! hehe!
Yeh, so what have I been up to!? Will, Paul and Sam came up to see me and Katy on my first friday here which was really kool, it was so nice to see them all so soon after I had left. They stayed the Friday noght and we ventured to a club in town called mosh, which is ok, but more of the heavier rock stuff than I listen to. They went home on saturday and me and Jane went to MOsh again Saturday night and met up with all of her friends who are living in or aroound Leicester, which was nice. It is amazing the difference in Mosh thugh, it went from proper metal/ rock to Indie! it was honestly like being back int he Colly last year with all the girls in their beaded necklaces and stripy tops and stuff.
The first and second weeks went quite quickly and I really dont know anything else that we did off the top of my head. I remember going to Fan club on the tuesday very vaguely, although I was very drunk, and fell down the stairs! lol! ooooo my mum, came up that sunday, as she was away when I moved her which was awesome... she was so brown though it was quite strange.
the second weekend i was here Lyndz came up, but we didnt really do a lot, as I am very short of cash at the moment =S we sat in and watched films and that though which I enjoy doing! And she got to meet Andrea and Jane. Oh that was the same weekend Jane and Andrea's bf's were up actually, who again are really nice. and we went out the Thursday and Friday nights... hence why I had so little money when Lyndsey got here! lol! I came home aswell last week, just for wednesday noght, but it was really kool to see everyone again, and mr Briscoe and sponge who were home as well, but it was really really good to be back in the Campbell again!
This week the work load has been piled on quite a bit. I went to a play on monday night tho As You Like It by Shakespeare at the Shakespeare place in Stratford Upon Avon with a load of other english students, which was quite interesting, and I understood what was going on which is always a good thing =) Then last night me and Jane went to Fan Club again, I didnt get as drunk this time, but had a good night all in all.
Today I have had so much to do. As I said I re-typed my CV, and have just put some washing in the machine, and have to go and put it in the dryer in about 20 mins! I have a load of reading to catch up on/ do and notes to copy up, but I just havent got the energy... I am not used to using my brain this much, and my computer is so distracting. Although I have been looking for a job so I supose its not that bad. I am planning on coming home again next weekend, but I have a politics essay due on the monday I am coming back, so I have to do that before I leave!
Mmmmmmmm, oh things with Will are going well... random peice of info for you there! We both thought the distance thing would be a problem, and I think he still does sometimes, but I came home on wednesday just gone, and am back again soon, so all is good =D and I am really happy, both with him and Uni! although it is nothing like I expected it to be!
Anywho, I have to go and sort me washing out again... I wont leave it so long to update next time, and may be able to reflect on things more if I am not in such a ruch! Love Jodie xx<3xx
PS I hate being Ill =( and my mummy is the best and sent me a parcel with loads of my fav food and stuff in it! bless her! I t made me smile!
