Don't you want it all!?

my international coed team got the bid to worlds a few weeks ago. it's the biggest competition for competitive cheering. two days of level five and level six cheering. pre-lims deciding whether or not you are worthy of day two finals.to prepare, practices started back in august and have been pretty easy-going in the following months. now, it's a mad scramble to get uniforms (which are amazing looking) and to spice up and flare the routine. leigh-anne is getting to be slightly unbearable, but that's how she gets. the team is phenomenal and can only get better in the next ten weeks. if we all keep progressing, i think we have a really good shot of making second day. and if we don't, i'm in disneyworld with quite possibly the craziest people i've ever met and had the priviledge of sharing a competition mat with.
71 more days.

on the college scene, i've gotten into my choice and #2 college.i only applied to three schools, but at this point, i could care less about my letter from seton hall. my appstate letter came in the mail three days ago and the family decided to hide it until last night and surprise me with it at a family dinner in red bank. i'm so excited!! my dad bought me two mountaineer sweatshirts and a t-shirt to celebrate. the black one is so comfy, =].

rosemont also accepted me with $14,000 a year, which is awesome considering it's only my second choice. but i'm extremely torn between the two colleges. right now, both are going to cost my parents the same amount of money. appstate is a larger school with about 16,000 students, a football program which means it has a cheer program and it's coed, an amazing library and an awesome campus.i was in love the second we drove through Boone at 1 am. =p. Its only con is that it's a 10 hour drive south of home and a 2-3 hour bus ride to the nearest airport. but distance i suppose i could learn to deal with. rosemont is like 1/40 of the size and only just recently went coed. there were more students in my graduation class in 8th grade than in rosemont. it doesn't have a cheer team but it does have a softball team. and it's much closer to home. it's only eleven miles west of Philly, so it's not like i'm in complete isolation. both schools are great and i'm excited about both. but my decision is going to be really difficult.
