with your one night stands and your sleep all days
i finished this last semester with four A's and one B. there was no better way to end the long and sleepless semester than with a full blown cinco de mayo celebration overfilled with texas margaritas & 31 year old lawyers. apparently 4 pitchers of margaritas can be a bad idea. somehow school starts again in five days. how did that happen?
kt and i embarked on our first ever sin city vacation. we saw the famous thunder from down under. as we approached our seats in the FRONT row we were a little skeptical of our decision and wondered exactly what we had gotten ourselves into. the minute i saw fake smoke i knew we were in for an experience. it was hilarious, amazing, and jaw dropping (literally). one hour and 20 minutes of hunky goodness. never would i ever imagine myself to use such a word but it fits in this situation & it might be the only time i ever allow myself to say it. we also saw two cirque du soleil shows but nothing compared to thunder from down under. we couldn't have gotten luckier with the weather while we were there. it never got above 85 degrees which made for an odd first desert experience. i came home with some great memories (full of half naked men) and the sound of the slot machines ringing in my ears.
before we left for vegas i volunteered to do the special olympics. i got hit on by one of the fathers. and i quote "nose rings and tongue rings just turn me on.. now i'll be honest with you.." why??
i've also become obsessed with anything relating to HGTV. or, even better, the show flipping out on bravo. i really need jeff lewis in my life.
