Sky High-er
I know, I'm really not that creative when it comes to subject headings of my journal entries.
So I got my PHAR230 mark back today, and I couldn't be more pleased. I know I'm usually very picky when it comes to marks and I never say any mark is high... But I'm very, very, happy with it this time around. I think I'm slowly regaining my self confidence... Yes, the things that high marks can do to your self-esteem. Life couldn't get better -- I have the awesome-st friends, the most loving family, and my brain is finally kicking into gear bigtimes. I've adapted to a lifestyle where I can socialize, learn, and have loads of fun at the same time.
Apparently I'm now officially the first "homegirl" of the three homeboys. I know it sounds kinda cheesy, but the homeboys are the cutest people EVER. Sure, we make fun of each other in every way possible...But there's definitely SOOO much lovin' beneath the bitter/sarcastic remarks. I'm getting initiated this Saturday when the boys are finished their Anatomy Exam...So big ups to another night for the books. I feel safe this time, knowing that I have Andy and Bosco to take me home if anything. But the limit is 3 drinks... anything pass that is what I'll call "danger zone".
I've also been getting alot closer to friends that I've grown very distant to...It's such an amazing feeling just to talk about the old days again - laugh about the most retarded things that we've done, or even just talk about the more serious issues in life now... It kinda feels like the time that we have been distant is being filled up with the friendship-rebuilding now. I love it, and couldn't be more grateful to have people like them in my life.
On another note, my girls from T.O. will also be hitting up Western, and the bunch from Queen's is definitely pretty hyped up about it as well (people are actually regretting for not reserving a spot now...haha.). My friend from Western also said this, "You haven't really partied until you've done it up Western style."
