School. I think it's about time to start frying my brains again.
This last week of my break has been quite busy, but productive. I am now "hooked" up with a volunteer job with UHN at Toronto General in the cardiac clinic department, although I might request to be transferred to Princess Margaret because they're more focused with Cancer research...and you know how I just love learning about tumors. Fascinating things, don't you think?
During this break I've gone to the mall so many times...it's unbelievable. My friend has officially given me the title of a "mall rat" because I have probably gone to STC 5 times and Eatons another 5 times within one week. This past week I've also gone to Vaughn Mills and Yorkdale in the same day... It's pretty sad because I've been to the stores that I usually shop at so many times that I can name the merchandise with it's latest sale price. Oh right, and going to the mall alot doesn't mean you will buy something either.
I got to see the CVille Posse twice since I came back...so that was nice. On New Year's Eve we went over to Harden's place where his mother cooked us a huge chinese buffet style dinner, we spent the night playing unbelievably funny games, and drank (lightly). I also got to see my China buddies as well! (We all met on a China trip for CBCs) Jenn rented a hotel room at a downtown Ramada and we just, not so much partied, but..."hung" out. I got to see Tom again...so that's one to check off my list. And again Tom, thanks for letting me be such a horrible person to you all night and for taking me home. The lesson I learned last night was: It's better to buy too little liquor than to by too much. Because then, it just becomes a big disaster.
