Freak storms show up without warning, seakings attack as they please, and pirates are everywhere. If you aren't prepared you'll get killed. 3. On my ship the kitchens stay open all hours, I don't want anyone getting distracted because they're hungry and missing meals is expected due to watch hours. But the cooks are not to be woken up. If you can't find one around you have to cook for yourself or find something uncooked. 4. NEVER harm a civilian. If they're impertinent, walk away. You don't know their story they might have dealt with corrupt marines. If you're really better than them, prove it by not sinking to their level. If you have to choose between saving an innocent life or capturing the pirate, saving civilians come first.
