You've joined the marines, Princess Azula-?

I did. It was the only worthwhile pursuit in this place.

Sinister plotting? With the marines or against them?

That is my business.

Mm. Understood. Of course if you're looking for someone to help in your plans you'll have to let a few things slip as far as information goes.

They should be on their way with a quick stopover in my hometown Loguetown. Anything I can do to help in the meantime?

Hm. Well what are the policies?

1. Always respect ranking officers - I tend to follow that only when it suits me.
2. ALWAYS keep your eyes and ears on alert. It's the Grand Line. Freak storms show up without warning, seakings attack as they please, and pirates are everywhere. If you aren't prepared you'll get killed.
3. On my ship the kitchens stay open all hours, I don't want anyone getting distracted because they're hungry and missing meals is expected due to watch hours. But the cooks are not to be woken up. If you can't find one around you have to cook for yourself or find something uncooked.
4. NEVER harm a civilian. If they're impertinent, walk away. You don't know their story they might have dealt with corrupt marines. If you're really better than them, prove it by not sinking to their level. If you have to choose between saving an innocent life or capturing the pirate, saving civilians come first.

Anything more specific?

I thought the purpose of the Marines was to capture pirates? How are civilian lives more important than the initial purpose?

What type of training is that?

I would assume the type that prepares one for the marines.
